Hey ICfam

I was wondering if I could get some input on this ...

Basically I started a cycle in my EZ cloner with a bunch of new cuts and some week old cuts that had baby roots from an unfinished ez cloner run because of algae build up.

The first day of the REZ clean + change I added the aquashield at the recommended dosage and also added some of the GH flora series , micro and gro, to feed the cuts that did have some baby roots forming ...

At this point ... its been a week since the rez change and flush ...

I was told at the hydro shop that if I had added the aquashield (hydroguard) at the beginning of the new cleaned out cycle that I wouldn't have to change out my rez for another COUPLE of weeks and I wouldn't have to add the aquashield again.

What do you guys think about that ???

I plan on running my cloner for another week and MAYBE 2 at the most ...

sure, personally when i put new cuts in i run them all the way till they have a solid root system then xfer into permanant homes, this is about 3 weeks total, the one thing i make sure of i put in cal-mag and hygrozyme and that keeps em green, some times if i think the roots need a boost i go with root66 and or thrive alive. you can start the veg cycle in the cloner aswell, just start topping off with small amounts of grow ferts. dont be lazy and change your water before it hits a month old will ya
