Veging in my flower room -how many days until?

I'm a little tight on space -so my babies ( a few days old seedings)are going to have to spend few nights (4) in my flower room at 12/12 lights
my question is how many days can they remain at 12/12 before things will get messed up with their growth?-ninja

On average, it takes two weeks for a seedling to become capable of flowering. 4 days shouldn't hurt but I don't know there's any advantage to 4 days of veg. Why not just leave them in there at 12/12?

thanks for the answers -I will be transplanting them into a veg room when its ready-but due to situations beyond my controll have have to wait until monday before moving them I plan on veging for at least 3 or 5 weeks

I am running 10 out of 10 seeds sweetcindy dutchgrown

I'm with FreezerBoy on this one. I relocated my veg room a while back, screwed up good too. The 3 day job got finished in 8. The babies did a wondrous growing spurt under the bright red rich light and took back to veg like it was all a fantasy.

But that 'leave them there at 12/12?' comment was also legit considering this is the new grower's section.

I know nothing of you or your grow so not too many of statements, but of questions I gots lots.

First, statements about me and mine, I do know about that.
I grow 9 to 12 plants per tray, 3 trays in the budroom at a time, 1 in 1 out every 3 weeks.
If sativas veg over a full week they reach about 3' in the budroom. The last tray I overvegged I threw out, TOO MUCH PLANT for my 6' x 7' room.
The room is 9 x 400 watts on top and 3 x 128 on the sides.
Doing 36 plants in 3 trays maxes out at 20" average per plant. More comes out to less as it will not fit well enough for good growth.
I understand indicas are shorter but I cannot relate names to type of plant, I grow a bagseed clone others have identified as full sativa, it is the only plant I know, the other 199 seeds I germinated did not make the final cut.

So my questions.
How tall are the plants going to want to be?
My plant doubles in the budroom, many years ago the old hybrid plant I had only gained half again as much. How 'bout your's?
What's the medium and how big the pots?
How big a canopy will the budroom allow? How much light shining on that canopy?

If I'm being out of line its OK to say so. But since this is the new grower's section I am intensely curious.
20 plants vegged 3 to 5 weeks would overwhelm me and my manually watered and vented old school growroom. Would be nothing tough for a large modern computer operated room. I don't want to assume either end of the spectrum, you gave me no clues to go on other than the grow is of a size I have previously tried and failed at.
