Well, have had my seedlings/youngin's under a 4 lamp T5 fixture for about a 12 days now and was going to go ahead and switch them over to my 600 watt metal halide for the rest of their vegging days, reach into the drawer to pull out the MH and i'll be damned... inside of the bulb little chunks of glass shattered everywhere.
My question is, how effective do you think I can go ahead and veg them out under a 600 watt HPS hortilux eye?
I thought about, (if) I use it, to keep the off time short to prevent as much stretch as possible. But I do know these hortilux eye enhanced spectrum bulbs are a little more on the blue spectrum than the original HPS's.
What do you think?
I sure can't veg out the 24 plants under a single T5 4bulb fixture for the remaining 3 weeks...
