Veg under 8000 lumens?? can you?

i have 7 seedlings under a New Wave 2ft. 4 bulb t5, 6500° K cool white setup,throws out 8,000 lumens @ 96W, how long will this lamp get me by, with these 7 seedlings, can i veg them til time to flower,can i even add more plants to it mabey, i plan on flowering with a 600 wat hps,but just need to know whats needed for fully veging a plant till 12/12, thanks for any help on this,

keep your lights within an inch or two from the tops of your plants ... I used four 4-ft flouros for years, and grew successfully ... if your plants are stretching, you need more light, easy to diagnose ...

thanks roadcam, here is a little more info,lets say i have them in 2 bigger then 18 gallon rubbermaid style packing totes,lined with mylar, and have 2 pc fans for air intake and one big pc fan for out,the lamp is mounted at the bottom of one rubbermaid, got them on top of eachother, and the lamp is about 5 inches from the plants,i can raise and adjust the light to acomadate, just want to know if thats enough, plan on vegging till about 10 to 12 inches, how many can i veg in there, mabey thats a better discription of my setup,
