Veg and pre-flower outdoors, then finish indoors?

Hi all... Anyone ever done this? I have a flower room that will be empty for 3-4 weeks soon. I have 12 outdoor ladies in 7 gal smart pots w/coco that were clones put outdoors in early-mid June. They are currently about 5 feet tall. I am thinking about putting them all indoor under 2-1000w HPS until the trichromes look good... mainly because I am worried about pests (found two dead buds already. Worms?) and thieves. Plus, I think they will finish much faster (maybe 4 weeks?) and outdoors they might not be ready 'till October in SoCal. I have been hand-watering them, but indoor, I might set up drippers and a rez...
Anyone see a problem with this? Gotta decide soon...
Oh yeah... they are doing really good right now being outdoor. This is my first outdoor grow. Had some extra clones so I bought smartpots and coco and went for it. They seem to be about half done, internode spacing is really close... closer than any of my indoor has ever been, Same strain (OG), but some of these clones were from taken from FLOWERING plants at week 2.
Thanks in advance!

Yup - works fine. Spray the plants routinely with something like neem oil to keep the bugs at bay, especially when outside, but also the first few weeks they go indoors (for any eggs). Then get the humidity comfortable indoors for the final weeks of flowering. Didn't notice any stressing of the plants i was running.

Awesome... What about Pyrithrum (sp) foggers? Is it too late in flower to just fog once they're inside? No way to know for sure but they seem equal in development to 4 or 5 week indoor plants.
