Vaportek 4000 or 2 * Vaportek disk systems

Hi

Anyone used the vaportek 4000 product?????

I have a grow room on the 2nd floor and due to lighting and heat probs i leave the door open thru the night. ODOUR IS A PROBLEM

What do you rekon - 1 vaportek 4000 in the grow room - its meant to cover 20,000 sq ft!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

OR

2 Of the Standard Vaportek systems, 1 in the grow room upsatirs and 1 downstairs to get any odours that have escaped - still menat to cover 2000sq ft each ( more than my house)

Which will be more effective???

I Know Rez uses the 4000 system so it must be good!!


PS - I have 40 cheese plants into flower and they really stink!!

I think the 4000 will be over kill, get the smaller unit and start with one disk. I will also put it out there that ONA works awesome as well. Get a half gal jug of it and some water crystals. Put a little of the crystals in a bowl/s, add a little ona and then a bunch of water. The crystals will soak most of the water/ ONA. You can just let it sit there or put a fan on it. You would not beleive how well this works and how many times you can just add water to reactivate it. BUT, carbon scrubbers and exhaust fans work the best with negative pressure at all times.

I bought the 4000 this mornin

It had the cartridge in it already so i plugged it in and it worked really well on the 3 setting

Smell totally gone from the grow room in a hour or so

Then i was reading the instructions and i realised i had not taken the cap off the cannister inside, so the smell i was getting was from a sealed canister with the lid still on it!!!!!!!

So i took the cap off it and put it back on. Now i only need it on the 1 setting to clear the smell completely. There are 10 settings

This is a great product. The smell is totally Fresh, the best way i can describe it is its "hospital smelling fresh"

They work well, eh? I wonder if I would be better off getting one of these or using a carbon filter(for a grow tent)?

Im UK, there pretty common over here on hydro websites

Retails at £200 ( $400 ) and comes with a cartridge

Its more that a scrubber but i think it works better

It seems to work thru the entire bottom floor of the house
