Vaporizers Buzz as good as...

J

Jack Crevalle

It keeps my lungs cleaner, when I use it, but I'll have to agree with this:

i didnt like mine the first 10-15 times i used it, maybe you have to become accustomed to it... now my vape gets me crazy high, albeit a different high,

I use a volcano, and it is the only one I really like. I own a vapor bros and a BC vaporizer and they suck, too harsh or too weak. The volcano is perfect, but bulky.

It's a creeper high, and a bit more cerebral than smoking, the flavors are good, but not the same as smoking, specially quality herb. I use it in the mornings and my lungs are happier when I do. It's like an iced coffee versus an expresso, they both work, but in different ways and strengths..

All that being said, I tried the volcano like 10 times before I was convinced that $500 would be a wise investment. Their service is great too, I broke mine once and sent it to Oakland and it was fixed and mailed back within a week, can't say that for most companies..

James Bong - I bought that crazy volcano adapted glass thing too, but only used it like 3 times. What do you do with it besides hit it like a vapor bros or something, continuous vape?? It seemed the holes on the side were counter productive, I mean what is the purpose of that dome, it seems to fill up and empty ou faster than I can vape? What are the benefits?

I like a combo of the both. Ill Vape a couple bowls out of the volcano, followed up by 2-3 rips off of a bowl........

Hi James, Where would one aquire such an attachment? Looks like a good alternative to buying bags all the time.

You definantly have to get used to a vape and the vaping experience. It's something you have to master and get the hang of. With that said, alot of vapes don't work very well but alot do.
I feel that it does take a little longer to get high with a vaporizer but that is because it is much more efficient. It also takes alot less weed though.
My vapezilla can get me blasted though. You can really control the vaping speed with a vapezilla. You can get massive amounts of thick vapor or you can get clean light hits that take longer to get you high but I feel they provide a more euphoric high.

Point being, I think I can get much higher with a vape but the vapes dont seem to make you tired or give you that dirty dizzy high. Once you get accustomed to vaping you may never turn back.

I am thinking mine isn't so good because I am using a cheaper $60 one. It the one with a hot metal plate and I put the weed in it and and then the glass like jar screws on the top. I can something like a smoke type stuff coming off the week and it tastes funny. It is a very strange high but I get very tired afterwards. :joint:

ive had a Vapolution vaporizer for a couple years and its ok, fun to use every now and then. i dont think i could ever use one full-time. the high is much smoother than a bong high and can sometimes seem like i am not as high but i usually am. it definitely helps to conserve though. under $100, definitely give it a try. $500 like a volcano? much rather have a ridiculous bong.

The first time i ripped my buddy's vriptech i was a bit skeptical. We finished a bowl and retired to the couch I remember being pretty disappointed with the immediate effect. But after the first episode of Mr.Show i realized i was ripped out of my gourd.

I think the effect may be more of a creeper high. Like i said above this could be caused because your not getting asphyxiated from the lack of oxygen. I usually dont hold my hits with a vape like a pipe just deep breath in and exhale. Still cough a bit though.

There is definitely an art to vaporizing especially with the whip type

What temp do people use to vape? I prefer about 370 F or 4 - 5 on the volcano. I Try not to just burn off all the terps on the first hit

I've got several ounces of used vape goodies, and had wondered if it was worth it to try to make some edibles with it. Are you making butter first and then using that in the brownies? How much used vape material are you using for each batch?

I definitely agree that the vape high is different. I've got the Silver Surfer SSV and it took a little getting used to, but well worth it in the end.

I've used a vape several times, same vaporizer different weed. a few of the times, I see white smoke when I blow out, and other times I just taste the weed and see no smoke... but still get high. Do you know what's the difference when you can see white smoke, or any, when you exhale off a vape? It might just be the weed itself or I guess it could be the temperature the vape is set on, anyone know?

i think its temperature and how hard you are pulling. a slight tug seems to work best and burn it right. if i get smoke, im pulling too hard. thats the extent of what ive figured out about this thing haha.

Hey tngreen, I just bought a vapolution because of the car feature. I get high with it but I think it requires too much attention to detail to get it right! Just when your attention isn't at its' best, if you know what I meen.

The bud has to be just right in the bowl or you get a mouth fulla stuff or no hit at all.
It needs much more than the 5-10 minutes they say it takes to completely warm up, like 20-30 minutes for really good heat, if you leave the bud in there too long it burns and the last thing is the hits have to be sloooooooooooooooooooooooow! because of the 1/4 inch glass tubing used in their bowl/bud holder..?//! But I will use it when I travel or for back up.

I wish I knew about vapeing sooner.

I've tried three different vaporisers and heres the golden rule.

All vaporisers will work just as well as each other, however some are easier to use than others.

High Price = Ease of Use.

My Volcano digital cost $600 and it's great. Load a bowl, hit the switch, throw on a bag and as they say "Robert is your father's brother". :D Also this had the minimum "stoner burn potential rating" - just don't touch the top and you'll be fine.

My Noble vaporiser cost $250 and it's stealthy. No noise unlike the volcano, but also you can load a small hit easily - more concentrated flavour than the volcano too. A LOT harder to use, and without a bit of know how and regulating the speed at which you toke, you can burn the cannabis if you don't know what you're doing. Also this had the maximum "stoner burn potential rating", easy to burn yourself on the whip/bowl.

Then I used to have a Vapir one which cost me about $100 but I sold it on. Good high and taste but small fiddley herb chambers were annoying and bags almost half the size of the volcano also put me off. I just didn't really get on with it so it got the boot. Also this had the maximum "stoner burn potential rating", burns a plenty.

So that's my experience, the more money you pay, the easier the toking. It's worth stumping up the cash for a volcano or supervapezilla, that's some seriously easy vaping :joint:
