Does anyone else scrape the resin out of the tube and the glass bowl part the connects to the rubber tube? I love letting it build up nice and thick then scraping it all out and smoking it. Has a great taste and gets you stoned out of your mind. Correct me if I'm wrong but it's basically just hash?

I've made ISO and BHO oil and vape oil does taste similar, but just like the two other methods, it has a very distinct flavor.
That said, all oil I've made is VERY potent and only a little is needed.
I used to try and scrape the oil like you do, but its a pain in the ass and you miss a lot of it. I would then use rubbing alcohol + salt to clean the remainder the tube and glass to get it spotless.
I recently realized: if you can use rubbing alcohol to dissolve thc from buds, why not do the same process as making ISO except with the oil in the vape? Since I tried the following method, I will never go back. I've owned 2 whip-style vaporizers and the first one had a small diameter screen (1/2") and would require frequent stirring of the bud while vaping. Unfortunately, this broke the bud up in small pieces that not only clogged the screen quickly, but also dirtied the glass with a lot of bud particles. My newer vape is the hands free model with a much larger bowl and screen that is about 1" in diameter. I can just tap the side while vaping and no stirring is needed. Because I never stir, I get very few particles in the glass very pure oil accumulates inside the whip. The following method should work for either type, just better with the latter.
1. With the tube still attached to the glass, remove the screen.
2. Pour a little rubbing alcohol (2 table spoons or so) into the glass.
3. Shake all around by putting your thumb over the glass part. Make sure to angle the tubing while shaking to get both the glass and tubing wet and agitated.
4. Most of the oil/residue should now be dissolved in the alcohol. Pour this into a glass for later processing.
5. Repeat step 2 until the tube and glass is nearly 100% clean and once again pour the oil containing alcohol into the same glass.
6. At this step, I then use the rubbing alcohol + salt to clean the rest of the glass/tubing. Dispose of this as you don't want the salt in your final product (its only used to assist in the cleaning).
7. Take another glass and suspend a coffee filter around the rim using a rubber band.
8. Pour contents of rubbing alcohol and oil through the filter. This will strain out all the bud particles.
9. Evaporate alcohol just like you do with ISO
While this oil is a little liquidier than the others, it still comes out golden and very flavorful. Enjoy

No. I don`t have a Vape but i want to know whats the best one for heavier longterm use. I think I know already but just interested to find real world usage feedback that never fails.
What works, sells best and the people will let you know the rippoffs.

I dont know about smoking that, interms of that shits seems pretty nasty to me just the taste and smell alone (obviously depends on whats vaporizing in there your probly using better stuff than i have). Also think about it this way, the thc, cbd, cbn etc. is what gets you high/stoned, and that vaporizes away until your done...so whats left has almost nothing in it does it not? I dont think it would be different then packing up vaped weed and smoking it...nasty nasty nasty, makes me gag ugh

It tastes nothing like regular resin, it tastes really good and is very potent, a few hits will get me stoned, and my tolerance is definitely not low...did you see Barnt's post?
There's probably a ton of threads about this. It depends how much money you have. I love my vapor bros, it was $140 I believe. Works great but it's not all I use I think I would probably get tired of loading seperate hits all the time if I was trying to have a big smoke sesh. If you have the money get a volcanoe

It is just hash. Some of the trichomes fall through the screen every time you inhale and eventually build up into a nice piece of hash.

yea its mostly just trichs and small bits that get sucked thru the screen..the best stuff collects in the whip.. get a hanger and unravel it then run the hanger thru the whip make sure u use twisted part..then take your index and thumb and collect the dark brown and use scissors to scrape your fingers.comes off real easy and even after vaping schawg it always smells really fruity and sweet...i dont smoke the patties though i revape it.taste really good..

it seemed like my old whip after cleaning it with iso so many times(years) ,became really stiff..when i finally got a replacement i was surprised how flexible and soft it was.. i never let iso touch this one though not nearly as stiff.maybe eventually they all end up that way i dunno..
There are many different types of tubing. Food grade/surgical tubing is usually very soft and flexible. Tubing you buy at home depot is usually very stiff. Both work fine, except the stuff at home depot usually has a plastic smell.
I usually replace my tubing every 6 months because even after cleaning, the tube remains stained. Other than cleaning, I've seen no other side effects that rubbing alcohol does on the tube.

well the tubing started out soft and pliable,its the whip that comes with ssv..im saying after i started using iso after awhile it got really stiff..because you change your whips every 6 months you may not notice.i would change it more but the head shop that sells ssv gear around here charge like 30 bucks for the glass and whip.when it use to be like 10-12,and you cant buy it seperate..but theyve changed the design for the ssv wand so many times.. now the new tubing i recently saw looks alot better its wider and the glass piece is female so you stick the tubing into the glass as oppose to sticking the skinny end of the glass down the tubing. but ive been using this whip for almost 2 years now and ive noticed its still not as soft but not nearly as hard as my other whip, that i use to make iso hash from regularly..

haha, I just smoked a bowl with a good bit of vapo res, very potent stuff, it sticky so i like to roll it in kief to make it more manageable.
