I like that vaporizers turn themselves off after a while. Even if they don't overheat, just for the amount of time that they stayed on.

i only vape and i certainly agree. my vape is set for 7.5 minutes time out.
however, a lot of the folks on FC prefer a more spontaneous experience with an always on and ready vaporizer - going through a lot of cost and effort to defeat built in timers.
but my vape only takes 90 seconds for the first hit from a cold start. i can wait that long.
