Subscribed. I love Barneys Farm.
Partial to Violator Kush and Pineapple Chunck.

Have not had any Vanilla Kush yet

the flavor of this strain and 'very intense, chestnut, almost earthy ... equally intense smell ... good kush
..... Violator kush tickles my interest ...

I have grown 3 packs of Vanilla Kush over the years, all were excellent. They seem to lean more in the sativa direction, even though it claims to be all indica. good luck.

I also had different experiences but I never had the good fortune to find the Sativa phenotype. A friend told me that the catalog is not written to stabilize the strain and inserted a sativa.

I'm growing v. kush right now. My first advice is that you veg for a longer period than with other strains. I made the mistake of flipping mine when they where only about 12 inches and I really wish I had let them go much more. The stretch is very minimal and after having been in the flower room for aprox 3 weeks thay are still only around 16 inches or so.
I like my plants to reach a height of around 2 to 3 ft, as I have plenty of headroom to work with. I think flipping at around 16 to 20 inches would have worked much better.

Just my opinion

You're right .. this strain remains low. usually leave them to grow up to six weeks. this cycle, due to space I let grow only four. 30 cm is the minimum height before putting them into flowering. otherwise the yield will suffer much. thanks for the "past". yours are in vegetative or flowering?

Hi LoveKush!
I grew Vanilla Kush From Barney's for a cycle or two. It was really fun.
I got 4 Pheno's ;
1 Early Purple ( I bred to an auto diesel male) - favorite*
2 Vanilla/Hash smell and taste- tight nugs
1 Sativa - stretchy/ foxtaily light yield

they are in my album -https://www.icmag.com/ic/album.php?albumid=34360&page=3
I had some fun clones off of them including celery stalk and whorled phylotaxy. All nice smoke

good luck and nice growing !:)
