Hello friends, kindly asking for some advice. For some reason it takes me an incredibly long time to piss clean (on the order of 90 days, regardless of exercise, diet, detox, etc). As such, now that I have finally been cleaned out, I am trying to figure out the most effective way to store urine long term.
Previously, I would put it in an 'air-tight' container in the freezer and cover it with foil wrap to prevent light exposure (for whatever that's worth), but I am trying to refine my technique. I have been thinking about using a vacuum sealed mason jar or Foodsaver, as I think this may help delay bacterial growth, and I favor the former as I think it may hold up better in the freezer, though I am not sure if the glass would crack. Here are some pics of what I am talking about:
I looked through the forum archives for quite awhile and was unable to find a similar post about this, though if there is information about this specific aspect of subing I missed, please direct me. Does anyone have experience with this technique, or know of a better one?
Ideally, would like to keep the stored samples good for at least a year (if not longer) as 3 months to clean out is no practical way to be prepared for randoms, and I don't know enough reliable non smokers to get a friend's sample at the last minute. I don't like messing with synthetics as I am worried about an indeterminate sample being sent for GCMS or HPLC after the initial immunoassay (I know some people swear by this but I have had bad experiences).
Any thoughts would be appreciated.
