UW cut (one of them) smoke report

So i got access to this cut from being a native NWesterner and its a small town round here ... we all know about the growing "experiments" at the UW and that there is a "U-Dub" cut featured in one of the cannabibles which is also referred to as "84 University of Washington Hashplant". This is not the cut I am reporting and doesn't really resemble hash plant very much. It does have a pointy tip but not nearly as exaggerated as hash plant or it's hybrids. I do have information of 50% of this cut's lineage but I don't wanna get into that now but I will say that this cut was taken less then 10 years ago.

The smell of this is so rich and unique. It's sweet but not fruity. Very strong and rich. It can't really be compared to any well known smell it is really something of its own that you need to experience for yourself. its just this rich, semi-spicey, exotic funkiness wow

this bud tastes like an exotic fancy desert kinda thing its somewhat sweet but its mostly just this rich full creaminess reminds me of some sort of like a dark toffee or something but really it is something of its own that cant really be summed up easily. the after taste is a like those black toffee coffee suckers if that what they called? chocolate stick things i forget who makes em but they are suckers are cube shaped. they have this black flavor kind of tastes like that like some kinda dark toffee.

I would definitely think this was the closest description of taste i saw on the list.

this high is redicilous this is the second or third time ive tried to do a smoke report but i kept getting sidetraked n shit an never actually went through with it I mean this stuff gets you foreall if you got something important to do dont smoke this bud i always lose my sense of time with this bud its very crazy stuff. the onset is very strong and it hits you very quickly and hard. its so hard to concentrate on this
I can't honestly say I'm sure i've smoked heavier bud than this.. an i smoked some wild stuff...the grow wasn't even that great i accidentally locked my girls up a few times. The UWs stayed generally healthy the whole way through, especially compared to the other 2 strains i was running it was amazing how much better the UW handled stress.

this is the kind of bud that sparkles. its not covered in snow its covered in diamonds . very beautiful trichome formation. It reminds me of rap bling.

as you can see shes a very bushy plant. no training necessary she bushes all by herself.

its definitely not a myth. dont know much about what they were trying to figure out or what they were doing but they definitely did some grows there. im sure if i asked around i could figure it out but its not that important to me. The big op got shutdown due to theft problems but I wouldn't be surprised if they still run smaller ones in secret.

I swear some one gave me an eighth of this that he got from a personal grower, few years ago. I thought he was making up the name and hook up, so I didnt pay to much attention. but this was unmistakably that bud. This stuff is not easy to forget.

No myth.

Back around 1984 the University of Washington's School of Medicine was conducting experiments with medical cannabis and this was a specific strain provided by the federal government. It was a strain developed at the federal marijuana research station in Mississippi. The story goes that once it arrived and was established at UW, it was soon 'liberated' by a research associate.

It is grown by many medical growers in both Washington & Oregon. I've seen rooted cuttings available at the clinics in Portland and via online forums set up by and for OMMP cardholders. I understand that it's available as well in Seattle and other cities.

The cutting that I have finishes between 7-8 weeks - consistently. The buds are extremely dense, loaded with flavor, impact - just about the perfect strain. It's very resistant to powdery mildew (big problem in both Western Oregon & Washington) and heat.

Glad to see that it's out and about. Definitely an 'oldie but a goodie' in the MMJ world.
