UV B light- are there any cost effective ways to add more?

Are there any cost effective ways to add uv-b light to my garden? I watched the long 15 presentation on youtube and if it's not too much trouble, I wouldn't mind introducing more. Are there any 48" tubes that work well for these purposes or do I need to look elsewhere? Links would be appreciated.

You could keep it almost 2' away from the plants and still get naturally occurring UVA and UVB levels.

one thiing I got from that was that there are uvb meters that you can buy. I may want to look into that and do some research.

That flood light looks nice but i could see some issues with it getting too hot, My compact flouro bulb i got from petco seems to do pretty good but it was a tad pricey at 45.95(not really that bad considering most HPS grow bulbs are $50-100)

yeah, the heat is a huge issue. The heat from this damn thing could offset gains by costing me a ton to work my ac.
