I'm looking at placing a filter in my aero res to help stop debris from clogging up my sprayers. At the moment I've bought a filter net that sits over my pumps inlet and is working pretty well as I haven't had any blockages since.
I am having to clean the net every 3-4 days otherwise not enough water passes through the pump. Is it possible to add an aquarium filter to keep the water clean?

Am I going to far? Or should I just keep the net lol.
