utopia haze seeds wont crack open

I have 2 utopia haze seeds that haven't opened up for me yet, all the other strains opened and are already growin. the strains I have are: Alaskan Ice, Cheese, both from ghs, Red Cherry Berry, Utopia Haze, both from Barneys Farm. all of these are from ams,neth. all the others popped in 24hrs, its been around 3.5 days now for the utopia haze. my question is this, does anyone have any experience with this strain? is this normal for these to take so long to pop? any opions are helpful, thanks in advance.

Be patient. I've had beans take two weeks to crack...

What method are you using to germinate them?

I soak them in water for 12hrs, then on heat pad for 12hrs. that usually does the trick, have had 100 percent pop till now. this is the only strain that is takin this long, anyone know why this is?

It's far too early to be writing these seeds off, give them another 3 or 4 days, if you still see no signs of life?, gently run an old nail board/file down the seam, the raised bit around the seed, only stroke one way, look closely after each stroke for a 'varnish' type layer to come away, this stuff is water-proofing your seed!, after the skin comes away 1 or 2 more strokes is plenty, re-pot and pray!, when you do this hold the seed over a shoe box or similar in case you drop it, good luck

had no plan of writing them off, ill give them a full 2 weeks. thanks for the great advice on skuffing the edges.
