Using flickr to host images

Do any of you do this?
I'm trying to figure out how to input a picture from flickr into icmag threads. I'm using a mobile phone. I've tried inputting the picture url but all I get is either "invalid file" in the attachment manager, or I get nothing at all when putting it in by hand and preview the post.
So confused...anyone?

I don't know much about flickr, but if you have the url to the picture you wanna show, it should work with the IMG tags here.. If it's allowed by the host.

Invalid file may be due to some embedding or a slideshow link thing.. Maybe it's your privacy settings on flickr?

That said, flickr might not be the safest host to use for a guy growing weed illegally.

I'm also interested in an alternative image host for a better quality picture host, paid or unpaid.

What are good options?

I am guessing bit I think you are clicking the wrong button. Are you using the INSERT IMAGE button? Don't. Scroll down a little and click the button on the left that says, MANAGE ATTACHMENTS. From there you can upload images from your PC or use a URL.

I've tried both ways. Clicking the little picture and embedding the url results in nothing showing at all

Using the manager it tells me invalid.

I'm doing this all from a phone though so maybe that has something to do with it 🤷*♂️ itd sure be nice to be able to add good pictures

Can you elaborate on that? I dont know anything about these image hosting services

I gravitated to flickr because I saw a thread on here that someone said that's what they used and how. I cant find that thread anymore as I have no idea which is was.
