useful for a "once-in-a-while" Co2 supplement ?

I found this at a pet shop nearby .....



I know its for aquatic plants ...but

Just an Idea .... I dont want a huge bottle not enough space


Could it be useful?

- The practical and complete CO2 set for beatiful and healthy plants.

- Aquatic plants develop more strongly.

- Healthy plant growth enriches the water with oxygen improving fish health.

- 11g CO2 bottle, diffusion tube and connecting pipe.

I mean like one per plant ? or would it not help ?

Great idea Delta9, but what a tease! Maybe ok for a micro grow. Expensive?

You might find using a 1 or 2 kg LPG gas bottle a cheaper alternative, with a lantern burning the gas if you don't want to use a larger C02 bottle.

Hey D - you talking about putting it in the air, or water? I used to use one of the bike inflators, with the co2 cartridges, like a co2 gun, but you gotta spray it above, if it hits the plants it burns them, too cold. That worked, butt my airflow is too high now for co2 to work. Let us know how it goes.

definately expensive smurf ...

oh and haps ...into the air ... the water will have O2 (airstone)
thanks I was planning on putting it next to the plants ... but will above be better?
...how often will I need to do this once a day ? ...and When is the best time?


also Im not sure if it will work but maybe worth a test
