USB SSD scam warning

I would like to warn users of the scam that is going around with regards to 16TB USB3 SSD's that are claimed to be M2 SSD's in a portable enclosure, they are not, they are SD card readers with a 64GB SD card in them spoofed to read as 16TB, you will only be able to transfer 64GB of data even though your PC will keep trying to send data to the device, trying to format or re-partition the device will give errors.
These devices are available on eBay where there are hundreds of sellers offering them for sale ranging from 4TB to 16TB.
The reality is that the largest drive available is 5 or 6 TB and that is in the form of a HDD in an enclosure not an M2 SSD in an enclosure as is advertised.
Don't waste your money, I bought 2 of them from different sellers and luckily I got my money back, they typically sell for AU$41.50 to AU$50 each.
If anybody here wants to try one or open it up and show us what is inside then PM me and I will send you one for the cost of postage, I am in Australia so overseas postage may be high.

I don't think any guy that would benefit from opening one of those would need to open one to know what's inside. They do that with sd cards as well, so really I was expecting they will do it with portable hdds/ssds. But.. I have no ideea how you would expect 16Tb at those prices. To me that is a scam just by seeing the price.
But, I would like to congratulate you on the free 2 x 64 gb storages u got. Should I tell you they may also be crap chips that will start to lose data much faster than expected? Don't put anything important on them. Backup everything.
