USB Microscope pictures

Hey everyone we picked up some USB microscopes and although im having trouble with the software i managed to take a couple decent pictures, lots more as i figure things out better.

I think you are talking about the right one Ultra, its a Veho VMS-004 Deluxe and cost £40 off Amazon......im not 100% happy to be honest because it came with a tiny cd that i cant put in my macbook and the software on the web site does not seem to work fully, i am waiting to hear back from their customer services.
I will take some more and throw them up later.

The depth of field is really shallow on these scopes , plastic lenses are colour corrected in software which screws balance up, and the adjustment is coarse.

Tried several softwares downloaded and as supplied in disk , works properly on a fresh installation of windows but eventually crashes and stops.

Tried stacking software but the results were very fake looking and angular.

This is about the best i could get.

When a length of cardboard tube behind a kit lense does this.

You will have much better results with a desent DSLR.. I tried one many years ago.. Maybe they have improved since then??
