Hello weed lovers
Recent political developments make it likely that large-scale hemp commercial cultivation will resume in the US.
This is great news, but it made me think of something.
I have always wanted to collect a good sample of "ditchweed" seeds. I am not sure what to call these populations, feral landrace, acclimated feral population, whatever. I have never gotten around to it though.
I think these populations are unique, and valuable.
If really large scale production resumes, these populations will be irretrievably altered.
I am sure that hemp lovers like SamS have plenty of these seeds, and I think that chemist guy GOJoe has collected quite a few.
I sure would like to hear from someone telling me that good representative samples have been secured.
