i WISH I KNEW WHAT THE DEAL IS WITH THIS URK....SHES SOO SICK, AND I CANT REALLY GET IT UNDER CONTROL







P.S. since a regimen of more kelp, she has gradually improved with new growth.... but im still bummed out

You are feeding way too much. That other plant looks burnt too, although not as bad. I would reduce the ferts for all plants like that.

Water with just ph adjusted plain water until nice new green normal growth starts.

After that, use half of the nutes you are using now, once a week. If it needs more frequent watering than that, use plain ph adjusted water.

Give 5ml/4L of the CalMag every 7 days, sooner if there is still some mag or cal def. You need this for sure if you use RO water.

Watch the ph, you want to put in 6.3 and have 6.3 come out. If it comes out lower, like 6, that means the soil is 5.7 because the soil and water always want to balance each other out in the middle. Keep track of every watering info and next watering, go 6.5 to slowly and gradually bring the soil ph up.

If you overfeed you encourage a big microbial boom in the soil, because food is abundant, and the relating action of the microbial life will drop the ph of the soil big time. Then you start getting lockout of cal and mag first, usually.

Also, judge the need for watering by either pot weight (know the diff between almost dry and just watered) or get a cheap moisture meter and use it. Best time is when the soil is in the lower moist range, just before dry. You don't want them to dry out completely, but making the roots search and work for water is good for the plant.

Once she is getting back to normal, the damaged leaves will drop and new ones will eventually grow in.

She's gonna be ugly for a while but I don't think it is nearly as bad (yet) as you may think.

*it seemed that the ph was round 7, so ive adjusted and will be watching it now... im planning now only feeding RO with the ph to 6.3 and occasionally (when needed) the CalMag

im not worried at all about ever flowering her in her entirety
just get her with enough green and healthy enough to take a few cuttings

haha I always supported dr. kevorkian, but really I just feel that this pant is wayy to stressed to be nice and green and lush as you say in 2 weeks. If you could get new cuts of urkel I would and just try over. however I will keep my eye on this thread to see if im wrong. Plus I feel a plant that stressed will only produce weaker clones, IMO it would need at least a month before you could even think about taking cuts. I hope im wrong, and i wish you the best with her!
