Urgent Help - Over or Less Watered - POISONED - heat(light) Stress

Hi Guys... This is my previous post: https://www.icmag.com/ic/showthread.php?t=310772

I've had problems with leafminers and parasites that i solved greatly with Neem Oil (Bayer Neemazal t/s).

The plant has started the vegetative phase on the 22/07, and today is 40 cm tall. She grows very well until yesterday that i noticed THIS!!!!

I can try to explain you some of the main causes that led to this..

1)" LIGHT STRESS"- In the last two days, due to the bad weather condition, the plant doesn't absorbe the right quantitative of solar light. I put her indoor using reptiles lamp that i used with my turtle. That are these:

The plant has been illuminated 2 days ago for 10 hours, and yesterday for 6 hours, combining to some hours spent under sunlight during the morning and some of the evening. In the first day of illumination the plant seems be OK! very well strain and strong leaves. Yesterday night I noticed that the plant wasn't "charge and high with leaves" ( i mean that in the night the plant always was in the better form, with high-strong leaves and good smell!), she was a little bit curled and "depressed". I put her outdoor at 5 of morning and i watered her enough (not so much!) due to the fact that the last two days i watered her a little. And today the situation VERY VERY is worsened.

2) WATER STRESS - Maybe i hadn't watered so much in the last week, due to bad weather time and due to the fact that the soil under the surface was enough damp but absolutely not rotten!

Here is a pic of the soil:

3) Poisoned, maybe someone has put something in the plant because doesn't want her... do you know some substance that causes this illness?

Please... i don't know what to do... The plant has been today under solar light until 16:00... What should i do? :(

An over watered cannabis plant will have leaves that are full of water, so the leaves will be firm to the touch and generally curling down (even from the stem of the leaf) almost as if it has too much water weight to hold the leaf out straight.

An under watered cannabis plant will have leaves that are brittle, limp, and lifeless. The leaves will seem to be drooping but won't appear as rounded and full as an over watered cannabis plant.

You should water your marijuana whenever the top of the growing medium starts feeling dry. Stick your finger 1-2" into the soil. If things feel damp, you should wait to water again. If it's dry then you know it's time to feed your plant.

Do you have drainage (holes in the bottom) of container?

Really thank you for the answer!

Yes, it has 4 holes in the bottom, but now that i remember, every time i watered, the water didn't go in the saucer, and i put in ther by myself. I put my finger in the soil but is enough damp, surely is not dry!!! What i should do? now she is in my room, without any sunlight... :(

Put it back in the sun, let the soil dry out for 3-5 days (depending on humidity and temperature). The overcast, cloudy light is far brighter than the reptile light and has the correct light spectrum.

soil looks pretty dense, use more perlite.

i find often with overwatering it can be localised, eg. just the bottom roots sitting in water, or a clump of dense soil holding a lot of water (eg. if you transplant and the central ball is damp).

perlite is a godsend but it can also encourage confidence in adding lots of water, which sucks if you go back to less perlite :)

I think that my adventure is finished. The stem is half yellowed, and the leaves are limp and lifeless. I tried to take the plant and to pour it. I doesn't expect anything, i've lost. But the damage over insult is that i don't know why the plant seems over-watered even if i don't water so much never... i think that the roots has rotted...

Thank you so much for your help, it will be for the next time, but INDOOR! :comfort:

Looks like it may have got hot and maybe over watered. Did you pour really cold water on her on any of these past days? Idk. Good luck man.

It's all about learning....next grow will be more prosperous, I'm sure.

Thank you so much again! I hope it too..

Now that you are making me thinking... before the plant started to die i used cold water for her taken from the tap.. (not so cold, but at environment temperature, as i've thought)

Yeah I've heard and possibly did it to myself once. I watered with cold water on a hot day thinking it'll help and it stunned or shocked them. They acted the same as when I transfer up a bigger pot and kind of shocked looking. I could be wrong just my experience.
