Urban Legend 'Mazarilla' Grow in Bio-Bucket

yea in my setup it had almost double lifecycle than the limited ones in soil based medium in pots
so don t panic if they can grow big to their potential with no limits around the root area
they will grow xxl supersized

Today is middle of week 4 , should be flowering.
But as you can see in Top photo or the others , not yet.

I fed them about 4 hours ago , the tent has been 73F to 76F while blurple lights on (3 hour).

I may have said this : I use Jack's mix 3 2 1 parts , the 2 is now Cal/Mag plus
and I have left off the Epson salt and went with
Orca & Myco Chum <-- got it for free when purchase of Orca.

I decided after first accident to label mix amounts on each item based on my 24 total gallon system.

Cal/Mag plus = 120 ml
Jack's = 88 gram
Orca = 12 ml
Myco = says 120 to 240 ml but bottle is 147 ml

So I mixed 13 or about 40 ml this time.

Mixing started with each dissolved in glass jar of water separately.
Then Added Myco , Orca , Cal/mag then Jacks ..

The cal/mag always was mixed first .. the way I learned it.
Then Add Jacks into the rez. ..and Epson was not always used.
All this just before blurple lights on. <-- that is just before noon by plants schedule.

Which brings me to that.
18/6 White Celling like @ 18k lumens as it states for 171 watts.
Color Temp 5000K
Pictured earlier.

It worked from seed to finish , so I wanted to Add 2 sets of Platinum Leds P450's
to the mix to see improvement from last grow .. mainly looking towards denser flower.

So here is the line up today .. also notice camera angle is right .. lol

While online studying I ran into something I may have to look into more called Dow point.
Where plant temp and humidity work in balance .. more study needed for the math ..
It will be something to log or watch for I think.
But those blurple lights were well under control the way I have things set.

The higher the temperature, the more water vapor the air can hold, and the more water will be lost from the plant. The lower the humidity, the more water is lost from a leaf.

of course it is same, you can manipulate humidity this way with raising/lowering temps /adding humidifier or dehumidifier if needed. nature will not serve you when growing indoors, you have to make the changes when needed to keep all factors in favour of your goal.

Yes packerfan79 , they are .. faster them most other auto's.
But so far before this run I have been dialing in things and have not hit hard with anything.
This time I have added 2 new elements and between that and the genetics
I am sure we are on to a great grow.

I have not done much except to keep the rez level at the right depth.
I will be raising the lights higher or LST soon maybe both.
I did add 1 more hour to the timer on the blurple lights.

It should be about another week before flower , but if I am too ruff in LST and get a supper crop on one , that will delay finish another month after the others .. we will see.

Today I added nutes
rez at 1075ppm and 6.7 ph
This should be last & only feed.
Last time I did a run I fed 2 times , and plan to do the same.

I can not take picture of a whole plant now cause they have gotten pretty large.
Rub them and get stink

This is all before I do LST.

I think this is where the fun starts.
First have to get lights straightened out and raised.
Then work on laying these girls down so they have room to stretch.

Maybe tomorrow I will turn on Bloom lights.
We will see.

Ok they are stretching and getting so big I had to start LST and bending ..
the stocks are so thick I had a hard time in soften them up to LST.
I wired 3 of them .. and broke one but taped it .. I hope it will recover.
Later I went back in to check on things ..and found another had broke.
I am sad and concerned. I taped it as well and wired the two up to hold them in a more up right position.

There is little room in the 5X5 tent now with the spread.

I will be keeping an eye on all this , next grow I may go soil because of the size of these girls.
I would highly recommend these beans , with the explosive growth I have up to this point.
I would love to master this one plant , to see if I could get over a pound out of 4 plants.

Soon we will be looking at some bud porn.
And maybe in next 4 or 5 days I will hit it for last feed and let it run its course.

I feel I should have done this grow in soil because I lost 42 inches of hight just from
the table and buckets.

I will have to be more gentle next time and will have to wire branches out to get the most out of this .. they are beasts for sure.
I would love another grow on this and start the LST earlier then I did this grow.

last night I spent time removing lower junk , making room for circulation and fan , and raise lights as far as they go.
I proceeded to wire things up as well .. turned the plurple light to 9 hours , white still at 18/6

After some hard thinking , I will mod the bio bucket system I am using.
Will take the buckets off the table and remove it. Giving me an additional 18 inches next time.
We are in bloom and they build fast .. everything about this gene is fast and loud.
I am so into this , I want to run it a few times to master it and I have yet to smoke anything in the gorilla family.
So all that will be nice.

When I am in tent I have to be careful not to rub against any of it, it burns me .. like ants and smells and I get sticky .. I should wear close in there .. but with lock down ..why get dressed , saves on laundry .. but maybe just for the girls?

They all share the same lights.

2 P450's at 450 actual watts and a 171 watt White.
The HPS calc on each P450 was rated at 600watt HPS , so this is really going to help till I eventually get a set of bar LEDs in the future.
But I love Bio over anything I have done before.
I have been jungle growing for years , but nature is a b**ch and so are thieves.
Indoor with soil .. bug city .. hydro .. not that it has been easy till I figured the do's & don'ts and 350 plus pages of stickies for bio bucket studies.
And 7 or so runs & maybe 5 version mods.
We are nearly to a turn key system I may not need to do much after startup.

I have been busy tying down the girls.
I have come to the conclusion that after this grow
I will have to redo my tent , put the buckets on the floor.
And maybe set up a manifold for 5 buckets.

Today while working in the tent I decided to sharping up my macro skills.

Today's update January 15


using jacks formula for 24 gallons 3 2 1 mixture would be :
72 grams for jacks
cal mag would be 48 gr. but I'm using the liquid Cal-Mag plus which calls for 120 milliliters or half Cup for my 24 gallons.
And Epson salt - 24 grams
I normally don't use but I did this time.


Starting Water @ 174 PPM PH 7.7

Rez value before mix was @ 884 ppm & 7.21 ph <-- not to worry
I can not believe the reading but take them anyways.


Jacks mix Cal-Mag Plus Epson
72 gram 120ml or 1/2 cup 24 gram
3.02ph 7880ppm 5.83ph 6275ppm 7.34ph 3780ppm


Cal-mag in first , then Jacks .. last Epson all diluted before adding to rez.
7.02 ph 1365 ppm <-- after 20 minutes circulating.



After that I increased the Blurple lights timer to 11 hours on now.
The White light is still 18/6
