2016 grow underway started seeds on may 5th in 1 gallons. Strains are raspberry kush, irene og, blue dream, GG #4, adams county deisel.



planted directly into ground on june 1st in compost. Watering with caught rain water, pictures are from june 8th.

2016 urban garden pictures taken july 10. Still just watering with rain and stored tap water now. Compost in ground seems to be working gave 100 gallon watering of compost tea I brewed for 48 hours with hi-brix molasses.

Ground is pretty packed now temps been in high 90s so I've been cultivating around the plants alot before watering to get more drainage and less roll off. All plants still healthy I did alot of heavy trimming, clone taking and neem oil. I saw some aphids on a few plants and got 500 lady bugs now.

Kinda been using tomato cages and some other cages. Think i'll need some circular wire fencing around them at some point, they should start stretching in a week or so.

you could also throw some strw around the base if the plants to help keep the roots cooler and slow evaporation

we are haveing heat where i am at too and the plants ( veggies) seem to be handling it ok

cant wait to see the next couple months, you aehv some really nice palnts

August 1st pictures were taken, added hay to keep in moisture and kill off cover crop, with cages around them now hard to get in there to cultivate anymore.

Been 90s still all summer watering every two days with tap and rain water when available.

Noticed a few yellow leaves starting on a few plants so fed with 1000ml of BioThrive Bloom and a bunch of magnesium in 100 gallons of water.

Also been keeping up with neem oil and trimming out the plants. Had to cut several plants back cause they are to tall for my area.
So some plants are topped others not, I was hoping to grow uncut this year but with the few clones and those masive GG and BD plants I could not. They have started to stetch in the last week so a few were also super cropped over.

Still been 90s here with little rain. Still just watering with tap and started hi-brix molasses. Everythings still real green and healthy. I sprayed with azamax once at on set of flower.

They have been streching for last 2 weeks and are starting to set buds. I had to tie some up with netting others with wire fencing, all should be good.

I dont see myself feeding anymore than the 1 litre of biothrive grow I put in there last month. I think there pretty well rooted and have a living soil to feed from here on out. I will continue epsom salts as a few plants like the GG #4 have shown mg deficiency.

Looking awesome! Question: why the loose netting around plant? Always thought netting needed to be tight to give support to branch but maybe different strategy for outdoor?

I had some netting around and ran out of wire fence so I just suspended it over the plants, it seems to work well to hold the branches up right and offers some flexibility during high winds.

Those plants are also very hardy indica and are free standing plants by themselves so the net makes sense as they dont really need a cage support.

Temps came down this month had 1 or two nights at 32 everything seems fine.

Plants started to fade a bit 3rd week of sept so added 1 liter of Hydrozyme to 100 gallons. I have not been using anything other than tap water we got no rain this summer or very little. Plants are not drinking as much anymore looks like 2 more weeks till harvest the blue dream will be nov 1 very hazey. I'm seeing 50/50 clear to cloudy at this point on most of the plants.

The smell is pugnent on hot warm days my whole neighbor hood smells of fresh flower. Ill try to mabey take some more pictures oct 15 but with harvesting I doubt I will have the time. The plants look great for outdoors very stacked colas and most the strains are really frosty. The raspberry kush has a phenomenal smell can't wait to smoke her. The irene og has a very unquie piney scent to her something I have not smelled before so she seems unquie aswell.

Im really impressed with the quality for only using $16 of compost and water mainly doesnt seem ditch weed at all. No caterpillars, mites, mildew or any pest issues the neem oil seemed to work awesome again this year.

Started harvesting got most of them down thing looks great. No PM or bugs. Buds are stacked and pretty tight nothings larfy at all. The irene og smells so piney truly a unique smell. The raspberry kush is to sticky and frosty even the stems are dripping resin.
