Hoping you guys can help me diagnose what happened, pics attached. I forgot to open the door before I went to work in my grow room and the temperature got up to 84F in there when I got back. I fed them nutrients yesterday. I've had absolutely no problems at all this whole grow and in one day most of the fan leaves are more or less dead. Is it a fungus? Is it root rot? Overfeeding? Or was it the high temperature stress ?

87f is not that high...this looks like overfeeding and overwatering to me. Are the tips burnt by now?

What's the RH like in there?

humidity is around 30 at night and 40 during the day, but i realize now i had this crate under the pot where it could have been blocking the drainage of water that was coming out through the middle of the pot, small amounts of water could have been pooling under, so now im thinking root rot ...

As Chimera says, this is overfeeding, specially since leaves got damaged so fast... you seem to be advanced into flowering so I'd just lay off the nutes for a while or at all completely. Unblock those drain holes as well and don't over water either.

It is ok for fan leaves to start yellowing by end of flower too, so don't freak out when that starts to happen in a couple of weeks from now.

Good luck!
