Upgraded ventilation, inside/outside tent temps.

So i made some upgrades to my bloom tent for the upcoming summer.

We get up to 45c on some days in summer and aircon is outside of my budget so i need your help to figure this out.

I know this is hard without pics, i will take some at lights on.

I can't seem to get the inside tent temperature the same as outside tent temperature, with recent upgrades Outlined below. Inside the tent its always 2-3c hotter than outside the tent, no matter how much air exchange i add with the fans speed controls. I've also tried various levels of negative pressure(if that makes sense)

Is this some what normal? Or should i have equal temps if i have everything in my setup working right?

In my 1mx1mx2m tent, lit by a 400w HPS, in went 2, 6inch hyper fans 315CFM, 35-100% speed controllable(one for intake and the other for exhaust), new phresh filter(150 x 300MM | 318CFM) and an air-cooled hood measuring : 50CM x 70CM x 20CM.

I know if i want the best setup possible i should have the hood on its on venti system but the budget won't allow for that atm.

So, Extraction: Filter > fan > Duct > Hood > Duct running to the top and venting out of a tall window.

Intake: Duct pulling air from the bottom of same tall window > into tent > into intake fan inside the tent.

Air movement inside the tent is handled atm by a large oscillating fan at the height of the middle of the tent, i will soon add 2 tower oscillating fans to the inside of the tent.

Last note: i also have some insulated/acoustic ducting, will that make a major difference?

Thanks for any help.

I don't think you can realistically expect to have the same temp inside the tent as out. You have a light giving off heat. Take one of your Hyper Fans and use it to cool the lamp, and use passive intake for the exhaust fan. See Ventilation 101 Sticky. Good luck. -granger

Its complete normal to have 2-3 c over ambient. If you ambient hit 45 C° in summer only air conditioner will help you.

I have 20,000 CFM of air blowing through my house in the summer. The temperature can actually be a degree or two cooler inside the house than outside by drawing air from the shadowed side.

The grow rooms do not have that option and run 6 degrees F over ambient house temperatures. The 12' x 12' room is vented by a pair of 2500 CFM fans. 1,152 cubic feet of room and 5,000 CFM venting makes for over three air exchanges per minute in theory and still the 5 KW room is 6 degrees hotter than the intake temperature.

In summer the lights go on a night schedule, I cannot afford AC.

Cheers for the advice guys.

although my temps are going to be high as fuck on some days, my ventilation system seems to be working? maybe i can get it within another degree with the insulated ducting.

Yup without aircon there's fuck all i can do but have my ventilation system running as good as possible, and pump em full of silica.
