what am i to expect with this bigger light taller plants or just bigger buds

2.5x more lumens output => more plants under 1 light possible, but especially more intense light close to the light what makes for fatter buds. If you can cool that light down enough that is...

I might add that you better vent that light.. As for your buds, the 1000watt will let the lower buds get the same amount of light that your 400 used to hit the colas with. As long as you keep it close to the plants, thus the need to vent light.

You dont always need to vent 1K fixtures,actually I use vertizontals and they cant be aircooled they are open parabolics.You may need quite a bit of AC though
