Upcomming 1150 watt grow. Tons of questions inside. Please read.

Hey, y'all. Jah bless and positive vibes to all. How's everyone doing around here these days? Haven't kept in touch in a while, but here it goes. My first "big" grow. I got some questions for you big-timers. :smile:

The room, if my memory serves me correct, is an 11'x11' bedroom and lighting will be provided by a 150 watt hps and a 1000 watt hps, mounted together [in seperate hoods, of course] on a light mover. My question here is, since I'm so used to regulating myself to just under 5 plants with my little SCROG/150 watt setup, that I have no idea about how many plants I should stuff under 1150 watts now.

What exactly should I do with the 150 watter? The most logical thing to do, in my mind, would be to create a cloning/seedling cab in the main room and use the 150 for those purposes. If I find some other way of keeping clones/seedlings going, I could just throw that 150 watter with the 1k area, right? Perhaps set it lower amongst the plants for lower and middle growth?

I'm still waiting on some seeds to get here, but the strains I've got so far that WILL be germ'd here in a few days are:

Afghani x Bagseed

I've got a surprise pack of seeds on their way [hopefully] this week, so the germ list should be updated soon with some tasty strains from the PNW... Thanks for your time and Jah Bless. There are a few things you can do.
that 1000 watts will let you grow More Plants if you wish.
say 10. I might use the 150 for a Vertical Hanging light in the middle some how.
You cloud use the 150 for Moms and Vegging. I like Floros for that.
But really 150 is NOT a Big Boost in the Flower Area, although wont Hurt.
I'm not sure 150 would Give you That Much more Yield.

Give both ways a shot. You Wont Hurt anything.

And 1000 watts on it's own can do what you want in Flower.

With a 1000w, the 150 is only gonna add to the electric, for not much retuirn. Id use it for introduci9ng young plants to HID lighting so u dont fry em with the 1000watter. I used to do it like this,
CK's for gemring/cloning.
Once ready, I switch on 70watt HPS to get them used to the different intensity,
Then they would go to the 250MH, then the 400 HPS for l8 veg, and finally to the 1000watt flower room!
I stopped doing this...It worked though, made em tough, but it is a lot of hassle....now I just go from the CF's to the veg room as seedlings or clones(hardened obviously) but of course I put them in the shade at 1st, and on the very edges of the garden ats far as possible away from the lamo, and slowly move them in. This is easier, but I have lost a few doing it too soon so just go staedy!.
Other than that, possibly if you grew a big plant, you could mount the 150 below the blant to light the underside too?? but in my flower room, with a 1000watter, and lots of mylar low down, the lowers get plkenty anyway, as 1000watters have much better penetration that smaller lamps.
