If you bubble a tea made with guano, kelp, and molasses, and only use half of it, how long is it good if you cap it and let it sit?

When a tea goes "bad", is it truly poisonous to the plant? or can you add some more water and nutes and throw the airstone back in? or should you just pitch the leftovers and start over each time?

If you cap the tea it will become anaerobic and the bacteria will suffocate and die. If you are having left overs, use half as much tea mix and water.

Hello all,

In my experience, I have not capped the tea but have used about half, left the rest to bubble a couple more days and then recharged the jug with another mix and bubble for a few days.....I have not stopped bubbling since last year....just keep it going.

I use gallon milk jugs and when enough crap builds up at the bottom...I just pour a little in a new milk jug and pour the rest in my garden then put the jug in recycle.

PS:

2 tbs bat guano (3-10-1)
2 tbs ewc/organic compost (50/50)
2 dry molasses
12 cc/gallon liquid kelp
(trace of granite dust and dry kelp in the ewc/compost)

a pinch of epsom salts (for sulfer primarily)

bubble warm for 24 hours and use full strenght....I end up with a tea that has a high pH (around 8.5) after bubbling so I use apple cider vinegar to drop the pH to low 6's. Aside from the arguement that pH will be dealt with by humic acids and D.lime, the AC vinegar also adds amino acids in good supply.

I used to use it every watering when I used FFOF soil. SInce I use Kelloggs Patio Plus I use every other watering with steller results.

i use the rest on any other plants that like it. dilute it for some and straight for others.
