Unknown Bagseed, Kali Mist, White Russian, & Pure Kush Soil grow

I've lurked on here for a long time but never had my own thread, i think its time to change that.

This is my second indoor grow. I'm vegging with 2 105 Watt Compact Fluorescents, they're 5000K and apparently each the equivalent of 420w incandescent.

Medium is Fox Farms Ocean Forrest cut with 30% chunky perlite some worm castings and myco fungi.

As for nutes i will be using pbp grow, pbp bloom, liquid karma, and super thrive.



I plan on flowering with 1 600w hps in a cool tube and 4 105 watt 5000k cfl's for some blue.

I call this one bagseed A, The herb it came from was supposedly Master Kush... only time will tell.

looking great so far man! is that reflector made of just foil? those are some monster ass CFL's!!! bagseed b is looking lush already. ill be watching, cant wait to see some flowers! :lurk:

Thanks for the kind words Smokinfloro.

I originally had a umbrella shaped reflector but the light was hanging vertically and i figured i get better coverage if i hung them horizontally so i made a V shaped reflector out of chop sticks and foil. it actually makes a difference. when i get some free time im going to make one out of sheet metal and mylar.

and yes those are some freaking huge cfl's! i was really surprised when they came in the mail.

Just a FYI for anyone thinking of buying CFL's the ones i got were about 22 bucks.
1000bulbs.com has 105 and 150 and 200 watt cfl's the 150's run about 40 and the 200's are 57 so you can get 2-3 105's for the same price.

Sup bro, your bag seed A and B plants are looking nice. Your other plants got some yellowing leaves though. Looks like they could be watered, soil looks dry. How are you doing on heat and humidity? How old are your ladies? Nice work so far and keep up the good work.

Hey CaliCoast,

Thanks for stopping by, and the kind words.

The yellowing i think is because of transplant. They came as rooted clones and the yellowing only showed after i put them in soil. The new growth on them is nice and rich.

Your right they soil is dry, the 1gal bags were watered about 8 days ago. Im waiting for it to dry completely dry out and hopefully make the roots stretch for water. Temps are at a constant 75-80, humidity was in the 25-30% range but a cup of water in the veg cab bumped it up to about 40%

the ones in the 1 gallon bags are about a month old now. I put them in paper towels on 11/14 they popped on 11/16 and were planted in the ground. i think they sprouted on the 19th or 20th so i guess its 1.5 months from seed and 1 month from sprout.

They're currently smelling like lemony BO.

They are not pistils IMO, You will clearly see the pistils shoot from the preflowers 10-15 days from the switch to 12/12.......see photos.....

Some Updated pics for ya

Bagseed A 43 days from seed. this one has a great lemon menthol smell to it. this one also seems to be showing mutated leaves.


Bagseed B also at 43 days. just started smelling like BO... kinda nasty actually



Bagseed C has the same smell as bagseed A but this ones more minty.


Bagseed D hasnt started smelling yet.

those clones dont look all that happy man look as if they ned some N in there diet as well maybe a transplant soon. the other plants look great. dont like the bo smell either...stinky...

2-3-08 update

its been a while since i updated. So here we go. My flower setup is a 600w hps with cool tube in a 4x1.5x6 cab got a 160 cfm exhaust fan. using fox from grow big and tiger bloom. Thinking about picking up cha ching and beasty booms. anyone have experience with em?

bagseed 4 days flowering, she sexed female :) I toped her once at about 4 weeks.

bagseed D Also sexed female :D she smells like really strong grapefruit.

Bagseed C Turned out male. heres his balls lol.

Got bored one day and decided to do some 12/12 from seed.
i started with 6 and ended up with 4 females.
I don't expect much of a yield but it'll hold me over
till the big girls are done

Whats up guys!

Here are some updated pics.

These are the 4 Bagseed i did from 12/12, Looking back im pretty sure i F*cked these up. I kept them in beer cups for way too long. i doubt they'll yield very well but eh that why they call em experiments.

I got 3 more of the same bagseed they're about a foot tall each on day 19 I'll be posting pics tonight.



im guessing maybe 4-5 grams each, what do you guys think?

Heres C: This pheno seem sto have a lot more leaf growth than the rest. but still doing well.

heres the update on the big girls in flower. I call them BIG A Big C and BIG D, BIG B turned out to be a male and was chopped.

They were flipped to 12/12 on 1/26,
