How goes it everyone I'm in need of sum advice, I have a plant thats probably 90%+ Sativia in hydro shes been doing good up unitill now. She has sum fan leaves that are starting yellow and their yellowing pretty evenly, I can't tell where it starts from. But the wierdest thing is that the leaves coming out of the buds are drying up and dying but there not turning yellow they just dry out green. Now she's in a 3gallon dwc and has been feed so far with Open Seasame(5-45-19) and up untill now she was perfectly healthy, she hasn't had any ph problems and shes a healthy distance from the lights. I fill the resivor like this, I mix the Open Seasame at 1tablespoon in one gallon then toss about another gallon and half of ph corrected water. I was thinking this could be sum kind of fungus I added preoxide to water and gave it that today but I don't know what to do and I don't want to lose her so any help is greatly appreciated

I've grown pure Sativas for years in DWC's. From my experience I found that when the leaves growing from the buds start to dry out on their own it is often the first sign of Root Rot. What medium is you plant set in? Is the net pot well above the water line? Are you getting plenty of air to the bath? These are the first things I'd look at.

edit: I should have mentioned, I can't tell from your pic's the point at which your plants are at. However, if they are nearing the end of the flower stage, (one or two weeks left) these are often normal signs on Sativas.

Are you using only Open Sesame?

Are you using only Open Sesame?

Open Sesame isn't meant to be a stand alone nute.
It's made to be an additive to Fox Farm's Grow Big, Big Bloom, and Tiger Bloom during the transition to flowering.

Yes I only used open sesame but that's not the problem, even though some people recomend using it with other fertilizers, but thats too much ppm for me I* keep it simple and it's always been fine. It was fine up untill a few weeks ago I think raising my light is what caused the problem as the heat from the lamp was keeping the reservoir warm but now I got a water heater and that seems to be pulling it back to life, but it seems its too late the plants pretty much dead so **** it.Merry Christmas to all that celebrate it. O' should mention that long ago I ruled out over feeding as this wasn't the problem the plant started drying out green with a few fan leaves yellowing.

I helped you with this problem before dude; I told you your fert is completely not balanced and is not for cannabis plants; it sounds like it is a tree or bush nutrient type.....

We also asked if you could get better pics and you never canme back and responded you just did not answer all of our questions and now you make another thread?
THat is not cool when you ask for help and you don't want to make an effort to asking questions; we actually care weather or not you get your problem fixed.... so if you don't want to answer my questions let me know now so I won't waste my time.

What color are your roots?

Can you fill out these questions please?
HYDROPONICS/Aero Ponics

What STRAIN are you growing?
What was the establishing technique? (Were the seed or clone?)
What is the age of your plants?
How tall are the plants?
What PHASE are the plants in? (seedling, vegetative or flower) are the plants in?
What Technique are you using?
What substrate/medium are you using?(Hydroton, RockWool etc.)
What is the Water temperature?
What color are your roots? White? Brown? Are your roots slimy?
What Nutrient's are you using? How much of each if using multiple?
What is the TDS/EC/PPM you are using?
What is the pH of the "Tank"?
Are you sure your calibration is correct on your equiptment?
When was your last watering?
When was your last feeding change? (ie. grow-bloom-micro-additional)
How often do you clean your system: example: Flush out water replace with clean water and nutrients?
What size bulb are you using?
What is the distance to the canopy?
What is your RH Factor?
What is the canopy temperature?
What is the Day/Night Temp? (Include flucutaion range)
What is the current Air Flow? (cfm etc.)
Is the fan blowing directly at plants?
Is your water HARD or SOFT?
Has plant been recently pruned, cloned off of or pinched
Have any pest chemicals been used? If so, What and When?
Are plant's infected with pest's

pics arnt the greatest but can see that the plant hasnt been happy for really any of the flowering period maby just not enough light and too much PK early on causing stunted dark growth leading to a toxic build up of 1 or more elements...

Your much better of using a 2 part or even a single part nute then as you get a few grows under your belt try a few of the same brand additives like/ example canna nute a/b aqua or flores in dwc or recirc or coco nute in coco if youd like to improve the root zone try rhizotonic or a vitb booster and canna zym or enzym type of product helps break down dead organic matter in pots and or system.

If $$$ are a concern and you need a cheep fast grow to replenish the cupboard with a full range of ferts, addys and other equipment needed id suggest a sog (flower once clones grow best 9per 1.25m2) in coco medium 10litre pots hand watered or res fed atleast once aday or to about 10% waste...

Na guys I know the pics are shity but the plants was the healthist looking thing for awhile it was topped the day it went into flower, the plant you see used to be 2in tall, she had 3 good months of healthy flower, she started to stetch past my 600watt hps so I raised it another good three feet at least. I should note this is small grow of questionable seeds so to say the least it was half ass and slopy; so immdeatly I identified two main problems 1) being the bucket it self had a light leak where the air hose came in and 2)the reservoir had no water heater and its winter. I never had a plant have its leaves dry green with only a couple fan leaves yellowing. I only posted the question to try to pin point excatly what the problem was and to see if it was savagable. Anyways I cleaned the bucket and reservoir real good, covered the bucket lid with two layers foil, and got a new water heater. Filled her up with and peroxide and she seem to be coming back slowly although I lost the tops of the tallest branches. I should note that I've used (open sesame, beastie bloomz, and cha ching) before with great results ( this being the first time with this plant inpaticular, but she was doing great and I never raised the dosage) and it works great for my plants infact I'd say it was designed for cannabis and I do mix it with ghFloraNova but not with a sativa like this the absense/low ratio of nitrogen seems to help them alot experince, but I've only had two pure sativa grows so maybe your all right. O n by the way that plant is lime green she isn't dark at all realy Ill take another picture in week and show guys what shes looking like.
