We don't have access to any "elite" cuttings like you have in the states. However, I'm not bummed about the sk#1 pheno dubbed "cheese" , as it is just early Sk#1 and we have loads of farmers here that have been growing sk#1 for many years. If there are strains Oz growers do well it is indoor Skunk and outdoor Thai weed. Any aussie will agree.
It is ezy to get skunk here that smells like dead rats and there is a pheno of sk#1 that a long time friend of mine has grown for years, which he calls "Vomit" because that is what it smells like. Vomit to me, does smell like bad Cheese, it is probably the same or very similar pheno as it too
If you want the cheese pheno, just grow out heaps of FD sk#1 beans and go from there. I believe "The pure" from FD as do alot of local growers, that it is THE best sk#1 on the market.
