I have no obvious signs of mites, and I don't think it's PM, so what is it?

Whoa that is odd, I want to know what this is. Does the web easily brush away when you touch it or is it really stuck to the leaves? I dont see any sign of a critter having chewed on those plants... Whats your pH at by the way?, kinda worried about that discoloration. The ICMag Mystery team always solves the case so dont worry, there are several geniuses on this site who probably know what that is.

Is it on all of the plants or just one? Could have just been a small spidey that took rest on your leaf, built a web for the night and left in the morning... That happens sometimes... Spiders also like to hide under leaves and inbetween buds. Watch it... ;)

I 2nd that, no peck marks on the leaves. Unless you have a small masturbating monkey running around your grow room, I don't know wtf it is.

Paging Dr. Core
ill third this beings how small they are i dont think if it were mites your plants are big enough for them to build there lil webs so for a plant this small i can tell you one sure way you can eliminate the mite theroy just turn the leaf over and look at the bottom of it with at least a 10x id say nothing bigger than a 30x hell i can see the lil bastards with my naked eye maybe even a magnifying glass would work but if u see bugs then u got mites they live on the underside of the leafs

to ward off spider mites i spray everything at about 3 weeks old maybe 4 with avid from what ive read about avid is it not only kills the live mites and there eggs but it also gets into the plant itself and kills any other mites that are thinking about making your garden its new home i couldnt find a specific number on how long this is good for but so far ive had no problems and im about 3-4 weeks into flower the only pest problem ive ever had came from a bag of FF ocean forest and that was fungus gnats once i stopped using the soil ive yet to use the gnatrol again i do everything organic until it comes to killing pests ive watched people struggle for years trying to rid there gardens of spider mites with this hippy remedy and that and i know for a fact that avid and gnatrol kill the intended insects and so far no ill effects on plants nor myself n i hop in there in whatever im wearing no gloves respirators any of that garbage only thing i do do is turn off the FAN hose em down n call it good

id be willing to bet though u dont got mites the spider that spent the night there makes more sense to me than spider mites ive only seen spider mites weave them webs around buds too maybe they do it on other parts of the plant but ive only witnessed them on the buds themselves

I think that you have a rough spider that has made it into your grow man, but I would still be vigilant about spider mites, because if your not, they can take over almost over night

well like i pointed out in my last post spray that sucker with avid u got nothing to looseit only kills mites not plants and not only that but it remains in the plant for a period of time that kills any other mite infestations trying to move in on your garden so far ive sprayed everything and have had zero ill effects i dont get why people are so afraid of this perfectally useful chemical cause its not green and trendy if u spray them at a young age by the time you go to harvest the plants theres not going to be any tastes left over from the avid not if they're sprayed as youngins or clones that have just become rooted in soil at that stage and heigth theres no way theres going to be enough of this stuff left in the plant

If you want to know if you have mites, just mist the plants lightly with water. That will expose the webbing.....

good idea never thought asbout that but i can spot em from a mile away i typically look for em on leaf bottoms they tend to like the underbelly of leaves and they appear to be kinda a redish color if i remeber right been that long since ive had em :) the webs are deffinatelly a dead give away i dont know how ppl get them as bad as they do hell im out in my garden every day for at least an hour maybe 2 just looking then i get my watering done n get the fuk outta there that might even be to much time i dunno

I would keep the spider around, if it made it in so will other bugs, the spider is perfect for that lol.
