Well just yesterday while getting sum outside greenhouse girls going....
I open up a new bag of local organic compost.... a very reputable company in the Puget Sound.... never expected any thing but top notch quality....

and yes the soil/compost is glorious beautiful...well sifted, and broke down.... black essence of mother earth.... GOOD shit...


but from out of KNOW where I feel this thing in my hand as I'm fluffing the soil.... and low and behold...... 2 old ass electrician wire nuts pressed together... and encased in dirt....
didn't cause a problem just removed them.... BUT like any good ole icmagger.... my first thought was/is.....

I gotta make a thread on strange things WE have found in our dirt.....

So here U go..... whats the weirdest thing U have found in a retail / commercial bag of purchased medium / soil???????????

Break up everything through a 4 mm sieve so I find most of the odd things in there , mostly bits of plastic plant labels , wire ties and a shredded condom.

Best find was half an unfortunate desiccated rat , which earned me a £25 gift voucher from BnQ to keep my mouth shut.

i found an old gold ring in a batch of irish moss i got for the tomatos, it had an orangy glass panel with a design looked religeous its in the drawer somewhere made by that russian guy i reckon Ferrero Rocket or sumat him that makes eggs ill take it on antiques roadshow ill be minted, im getting too stoned now
