I'm not to new to the art of growing but still need to learn quite abit.
I have 11 very nice stalky out-door plants going right now (Don't know the strain) some are bigger than others but all are doing Healthy, But i want to yeild the post I can out of these plants..

How would I tie the branches down and is it worth doing?

Tie the branches down to stakes in the ground (think tent-pegs or similar) and it will help to allow more light into the centre of the plant. Essentially you are training the plant to be much bushier. From what I have seen this is a classic technique of outdoor growers, and yes, it should be worth doing.

Good luck
