Two seeds in the same calyx... Any genetic significance?

Aloha everyone! I am curious as to what some of the seed breeders have to say about a situation I've recently encountered and can't seem to find any information anywhere on the topic. Here's the deal: I recently made some seed stock with the choice female and stud male seedlings from an Alienplantseeds breeders pack (Punaband × Marvin's PR). The female became FULLY pregnant and ended up having a couple calyxs that produced two mature (twin) seeds within the same calyx instead of one seed (The pics I took are to blury to be worth sharing). Has anyone encountered this and if so have you noticed any sort of difference in the plants that grew from them compared to the single seeds? Are they possibly a desirable mutation? That one in a thousand killer pheno or weak junk? Should they be bred with each other if they end up as twin brother and sister? The question list could go on. What are your thoughts on this? Would love to hear what yallz gotta say on the topic!

Yup!! Thats exactly what im talking about Weird! You say you forgot to isolate the twin seeds yeah? Did you have any thing out of the ordinary when you popped your beans that may have been da twins?

I had a plant threw several sets of twins. I posted a thread somewhere but can't recall exactly what it was called.

The twins I got are all fused at the abscision (Sp?) layer.

I have not attempted to grow them so cannot comment on your questions above.

I'm wondering, now, if the pairs will be genetically identical? Curious?

Whoa so you got siamese twins? Id really be interested in seeing photos of them germinating and growing if you end up sprouting them!

never seen twins like that, interesting. i have had two seedlings from the same seed(twins), two seeds fused(siamese twins?) but this is new. i doubt any of these twin types are nothing more than botanical curiosity, but that just a uneducated guess.

I have no answers on experience since I never kept track of them individually

Mass Super Skunk x Sweet Widow Lavender iirc

All I can do is speculate. Non's probably right. Also, they could be identical twins or fraternal twins. Fraternal, theoretically, are no more alike than any other 2 seeds on the plant. Identical twins should be genetically identical. -granger
