Two Kinds: Starved or Weird Plants.?

There are two problems that have just cropped up in my crop. Different, one may be nutrient problem, so I am passing them on for your opinions. They are each grown from soil, unknown type of seeds, some freebies, or something. They are under 1000wHPS, and 6 days into flowering. The problem started in each b4 going into flowering light phase.

1. seen in my gallery- under title good imaging, and twisted leaves; leaves grow in deformed shape, and there is discoloration in the leaf.
Genetics, and or nutrients? Weird plant?

2. Seen in my gallery under the name - spindly and yellow growth. Very thin growth in this sativa pheno, whatever kind of seed it was. (Love good surprises, why use names?) you can also see this same problem a while back in my gallery, the pic has the number 338 in its title. The lower growth, is entirely thin, weak branches, and the upper growth looks better, but as it ages, the yellow spots on the leaves get worse. I have flushed, and used good (lots of nitrogen vegging style) ferts. Have also tried epsom with both. Please do not point me to the FAQs somewhere, I cannot figure these guys out.

Recent light movement, as it was burning leaves in the room. All other plants in the room are taking off nicely; sativa and indica phenos, all very nice. Soil and coir in both, mixed with perlite. Thanks.

sorry, the double picture in the last post has nothing to do with the problem, the problems are in my gallery.
Apologies.

Not sure if thats a misprint or not but......they look to be 6 weeks into flower or so. It is normal for them to have fan leaves turn yellow and fall off during the last couple weeks of flower. Not sure what you are describing matches your pic. Its the only one in your gallery.

how to bring ph down?????

how to bring ph down?????

Seriously folks, the leaves are twisted and yellow because of a ph problem which is not allowing phosphorous and nitrogen through. My guess,
but CAN I JUST DROP SOME COTTONSEED MEAL IN THE SOIL, OR DO I NEED TO REPOT TO BRING THE PH DOWN???
iS PH DOWN FOR HOT TUB WATER OK TO USE IN A VERY SMALL AMOUNT?

HOW LONG B4 I CAN GET THE PH TO THE POINT WHERE NUTES ARE ABSORBED?

OH, AND
HOW DO THEY GROW HORIZONTAL? SHIT, HOW DO YOU GET YOURS TO GROW VERTICAL? (Ok, so i thought i uploaded some pictures last night, to show everyone what the problems looked like) TO ANSWER THOSE WHO ASKEd about how to get a plant to look horizontal, that caused me to ask, isnt that how all you all do it? Damn. For you beginners, let me tell; you that the trick in getting a plant to hang horizontally is to teach them to be open to being horizontal. Simple. I play Mozart for them at an early age. NO, seriously, training and FIMMING help. Actually, I thought most people did this, like I did. Just more sideways.

sorry, i couldn't help it!!

do you have any pH down? if so, mix some with your water, and flush the plant(s) in the sink/tub/outside.

try to lower your pH gradually. drastically changing pH can do just as much damage/lockout as having your pH out of whack in the first place. remember, g r a d u a l l y. i assume you have a pH meter? try to get it between 5.5 and 6.5 the pH down you have for the hot tub should be ok...

after looking at the pic again, you may have overdone it with the epsom salt...?
hope this helps.

p.s. hope i didn't piss you off with my previous post. sorry if i did.

good luck, and seriously, the plant looks ok!

oh, well

oh, well

There are times....I did not get the pictures into my gallery. Try again, although i have to laugh, because one of the "Troubled plants" turned out to be a very (now) dead plant, it was a boy.

The one picture in my gallery is 5 mos. old, Sensi seed, Shiva Shanti II.

Try to get these others up there this am.Thanks to all of you, and if you knew me in person, I am the last to take offense.

I find adding dolomite lime helped stabilise the Ph in peat and perlite for me, and if you can get one that disolve well you can add it with watering, dont necesarily have to add it to the soil mix.
