has anyone done this before?
was thinking its probly not a good idea to fill both tables at the same time?
but what if you had 2 pumps in one res? could time it to fill the 1st table then the 2nd pump to fill and drain the 2nd table once the 1st table has drained?

Not unless both tables & all plants are on the same feed schedule or your just feeding plain water & your soil has all the nutes .

i run 3 ,3 x 3 tables with 6 to 12 plants on each table & i have 3 different rez's cuz they're all on different feed schedules .

Yes it is fine but your right, you need two pumps and two timers, fill one, drain, fill the other.

 hi, got a setup on one table now 8 site, not being used at moment, but ya, it works for sure, i run, fill, stop, then it drains back into resivior , then second timer kicks on ,fills, stops, then drains, plenty of do,top drip, when wanted, and filled with two pumps, round and round she goes.:woohoo:

This should be fine...I ran the same thing with two trays (had to double up the pumps tho) and my isse was that the 70 Gal res was just a tad too small....think you should be ok with the 100gal, as I needed to innstall a floating top off device because they ran through the water too fast
