Twinseeds etc.

I have one seed what is more like two seeds grown integrated. I'm thinking if it germinate would the genetics be very same in both germs. If so, is there any possibility that it could include both male and female?

I have also some unusual big seeds. Does it make better possibilities to plants have bigger buds when using bigger seeds?

I have made one cross where I think more than 75% of genetics came from quite big seeds and all resulting seeds are big also. In that cross there are some hermapfrodithe in genetics too. In last crossing both parents were healthy. Can anybody tell me is it worth to continue with that hybrid someday or should I leave it? (biggest seeds I have are from other strain)

Sorry if asking about same things you maybe have talked earlier :)

Am I asking stupid questions?

If anyone dont know anything then I have to test myself :D

I'm asking about these things because I have seeds from different type of plants of same strain (Lowryder) and I'm not sure about what properties I want to try make stronger in possible next generation. Biggest seeds I have are from shortest plant (as that twinseed also). I have not seen big differenses in high from different plants.

Size of the seed has nothing to do with the size of the plant, yield, or potentcy.

One seed is not going to grow into two seperate plants. Two seeds intergrated? makes no since.

What are you crossing and is it good herb plus have the traits your lookin for?
If so keep it up , if not let it go.

Thanks for answer.

About that twinseed I think I must take photo when I got better camera if you cant see sense on it. It's has grown in the shape of heart or something like that..

The twin seed not going to do anything special. It most likely will not germinate. I have had a few and they never germ. I have even broken them in half and neither germed. You could always try though. TK answered the big seeds question.

The one 420 posted looks like it might pop something out or have a weird double seedling possibly. If it looks like that try germing it. Mine are usually 2 seeds connected by a little piece of shell.

Thats funny, I planted 40 of my Kali F2's and ended with 43 seperate plants

BTW this has only happened for me, with my Kali Mist F2's :canabis: no other seeds I've made have done this :chin:

Now I know not to waste my time in thinking too much about appearance of seeds and can focus on more important things :)

About these unusual big seeds I talked earlier.. Maybe they are twin seeds too because they are from same plant as one seed what look like a bit same as 420247's Kali Mist double and if I get it right some other seeds of same Kali Mist F2's got another germ inside too.

i did have twins out of nirvana special.
biger one was female and smaler was male i pollinate couple nugs and get +-200seeds of those two.
some of the seeds germinated when they stil was on mother plant and rest of them are bigger than usual seeds. not like those kali mist seeds.

You got it Hempnist

I planted 40 seeds and 43 seedlings sprouted (I plant my seeds directly into the dirt, so I don't know what was going on underground and I don't have any pic's of them germinating :frown: )

And the 40 Kali F2's I grew were from the same male/female parents (#2 Female X #4 Male)

Plus, I didn't notice any other double seeds (like the one in the pic above) when I was planting the 40 Kali F2's  but 3 got past me :chin:

Good luck with your beans

Take care

ROTFLMAO!

Are you sure your testicles don't look like the seeds instead of the other way round? Food for thought.....

LOL Just kidding 420247, absolutely no disrespect intended...the punch line was there just waiting for someone to come along...little bit of female humor

When I sort a lotta seeds I see a few like that and I toss them because usually they tend to have a crack somewhere if you look close. When cracked a seed will dry out before germination if too long goes by so they aren't acceptable in my cut. You still get twins in normal looking BOG seeds sometimes however and one can be male and the other female. One can be a runt or both can or both can be normal plants. The genetics is the same of course withing the normal variation of the genepool.

Twins aren't mutants but usually it is best to seperate them at birth. BOG
