Turkish Strain?

I remember when I smoked it a few times in the 80's. We called it "Turkish bombari" because it was like kif, not pressed....light-colored, crystalline bright, high,... a delight....
So many years later and we still mention it in my circles.

Moments that have burned themselves into your memory.
I remember as if it were yesterday how my first Thai stick smelled and tasted. I can see the faces of my friends in front of me and that was fifty years ago.
It's the same with many other flavors, smells set off chains of associations, and most of them are pleasant.

But it also triggers discomfort when I think of the stretched shit that smelled like henna or car tires.

Back in the day there was some turkish hash available but only for a certain period, early 90s. We used to call it "Laughing turkey" (free translation) because of the nice giggling effect. It was greenish pressed in thin plates, maybe 3-4 mm.

That's exactly the fabric I meant.
Wouldn't it be cool if you could make it from a dry sieve from your own harvest?

I guess you can make some pressed kif easily but to find the right variety and maybe technique could be a task. I would think also of moroccon, lebanese and greece varieties to come close.

We think along similar lines.
In fact, I want to make all the varieties of my youth myself.
