Trump thread part 2 (Or anything else we want to talk about that's ridiculous in politics today)

Um, statistics ARE "reality on the ground", and Alaska's per capita rates of violent crime are second in the Nation, and nearly twice the rate of the second-place winner for rape, in other words, leading the entire Country.

What will you folks pull out of your asses next to justify hollow bullshit that defies unfounded knee-jerk nonsense??

Science, social or otherwise, seems to be a hurdle too high for many here to embrace, let alone understand.

So please explain to me (and others) how, exactly, hard and fast data is not reflective of reality "on the ground"?
yep

There is is, I missed it. Anchorage 🤣. Compare any year you want, Anchorage vs Baltimore homicide statistics. Last year the city alone had almost 4x more than your entire state. 🤡
Still completely incapable of comparing apples to apples by means of using per capita analysis.

The dimwitted are still stuck in mere raw statistics. Thanks for raising your hand and acknowledging your group of membership.

By the way, had you had a brain for more than yeast and flour, you might've recognized those reasons that analysis relies on per capita comparisons, or per 100,000 people.

What a dimwitted jackass.

You dont actually think someone should do time for plants though do you?
No. I wish the community was the way it was back then. There were zero boot lickers.

After legalizing tons of people poured in. Many of them fine, but a lot of them think government authority is ok, it’s not. Changing one law about weed doesn’t make the government not the same people that chased us down and locked us up for decades. Change the laws back and the government these people seem to trust will pursue them like a pack of dogs.

Government wants all freedoms to be illegal. Just look at speech.

Baltimore has a population of roughly 600,000. The entire state of Alaska has what, 700,000+ right ?

Yet the small city of Baltimore has 4-5x more homicides per year versus the entire state of Alaska. What part of Alaska are you from ? I’m really curious now

Hmm checks out. lol.

If you look up the meaning of 'per capita', his point will start making sense to you.

You might wajnt to check tyour stats again, and the generic columns were violent crime, homicide and rape.

Your claim is bogus.

Your curiosity as to where I'm from doesn't matter a bit. Your numbers are bullshit, as is most of your posturing here.

'Per capita' as a frame of analysis provides a level field by which to assess activity X based on 100,000 people. It's used as a manner of making comparisons uniform in scale. It's THE basis for most social science research stats... But it seems you know more than well-established statisticians. Yep, like your Trumpy Bear.

You're a fucking blow-hard, and little more.

And the crime stats for the Nation, broken down into states, etc., says you're full of shit, and from more than one legit source saying as much. Yet you've never ever posted when you're wrong, certainly not that I've seen.. ever (much like your Fuhrer Trump, instead, also like Trump, finding some oddball manner by which to claim 'alternative facts' as some sort of reality. Delusional is what it is.. Perpetuation of Trumpian fallacies, a nitwit claim by any other categorization.

And you're afraid in big bad NYC, a playground. Bwahahahahahaha. BOOO!!!

I've lived all over the State of Alaska, by the way, from remote tiny villages to small but well-established communities, and larger communities as well, and never once lived in Anchorage. Before that I lived in the Yukon Territory of Canada in the 1970s.

Do yourself and others a favor and learn some fucking honesty and humility. and find some integrity while you're at it.

Now piss off and find some other individual to do your bizarre incessant dance with. I still think you're a scumbag, from everything I've seen you do and claim here on these boards..

Yep, I see a bunch of poorly educated Trump states in that map.

And I'm in a red Trump state, too. Have to deal with the ignorant inbred motherfuckers nearly every time I drive into town, and regret it more often than not. However, unlike my Trump-supporting fellow Alaska residents, I've both lived real life in many different walks, and also have the benefit of a master's degree, bachelor's degree, and previously held two professional clinical licenses, which included studying advanced social science research stats in grad school.

Your claims to knowledge in the subject matter and a resume' are.. what?
