So you voted for trump in the hope cost of living will not increase.
Thanks for the answer and I can understand the reasoning but I can't understand how you or others think that's what trump actually wants to do.
yes i voted for trump, one of the reasons u state above... i hope thats what he wants to do... again...'hope' ... in my (small) mind i voted for the less of the '2' evils... wake me in 4yrs to see if i was rite...or wrong...

Reducing energy prices will have a major impact. I talked about this in another thread. Porky you can go read it if you like.

prices for the most part... will not go down.... maybe for a couple of thing prices will decline... maybe gas/heating oil/etc.... but for the majority of items... for instance grocery items... milk, eggs/meat are up 22-24pct under biden/harris, n they ain't going back to prices of 4yrs ago.... the best we can hope for is the prices in the next 4yrs will not go up 22-24pct....
same thing over here but it had nothing to do with Biden, lol ;) It was the covid pandemic when prices began to go up for ..just about everything. So I reckon that the change of presidents won´t change much.
Besides, retailers have gotten kinda used to taking full advantage of the covid crises and (over here at least) the Ukraine war too. By this I mean putting their prices up.
And this has had nothing to do whether a european country had a left wing or right wing government, I´m pretty sure of that. I think it was , in many ways just a great exuse .
At least this is what I suspect.

If prices and the general cost of living in the US really do go down again under Trump, then great. My american family members will be very pleased :) but I kinda doubt it especially when you take into account that prices tend to go up as time goes by anyway.
The type of let´s say sweets I´ve known since childhood were already overpriced before the pandemic imo.
Same goes for healthy produce. And don´t get me started on fuel prices - I almost feel luckiy to not have a car anymore sometimes , yikes!

sorry, I´m rambling bit here ...

Can I ask have you been in hardship or extreme hardship under the previous government?

Well it seems the retards voted for Trump because the economy is bad because of Biden. Their words not mine.
Not one of them would have a clue how the economy works but according to them Trump is going to fix it and make their lives better.
Didn't he promise to do this in 2016? 🤔

Pathetic

It's really not a cult.

These people just want lower gas prices.

yes energy prices run the country... BUT... drill baby drill , while a great slogan, however, exxon is a company in business to make $$$... saturating the market with oil, they and the other majors ain't going to do ... besides with all the oil being exported from new finds in african countries, guyana , bzl, argentina etc, this will keep prices in check...

It’s going to happen. I posted average annual fuel prices from when he took office last time. Gas under $2 six months in to the pandemic.
As soon as Biden took office, the graph went vertical. Shortly after, prices at the store skyrocketed. Some of these guys fail to realize how much energy impacts prices. But they are the smart ones. Hell, lefties still ride around with a mask on in a car alone
