True living Organics Grow

This is my first time trying the TLO low maintenance style of growing. I'm vegging under 4, 23 watt Sylvania Micro mini 6500K CFL bulbs in a small 50 x 50 x 100 cm grow tent.

1-Super Lemon Haze
1-Grapefruit Diesel
1-LSD

This is the step by step process when i transplanted the plants in the vegetative phase.

I started out by spraying the bottom of the bags with water and then sprinkling in 1 tbsp of a high nitrogen blend consisting of Blood meal,Guano,Feather meal and Oyster shell.

I added a layer of soil (50/50 soil/Perlite) then I added 1 tsp of Jobes Organics all purpose 4-4-4 granular fertilizer with biozome formula. I added more potting soil so the plants roots did not touch the fertilizer. I then sprinkled the plants roots and soil layer with Mykos Mycorrhizae and secured the plants in the containers.

I sprinkled another 1tbsp of high nitrogen blend around the top of the container and topped it off with a layer of all natural Hemlock/Pine mulch. I drenched the plants with distilled water until water started coming out of the bottom of the bags. The plants responded really well after transplanting.

Thursday the 12th of may I made a 1/2 gallon of Revs vegetative high powered growth tea that I ordered from the TLO website. I used a 1/2 gallon of rainwater, 1/2 packet of tea, and 1 tbsp of unsulfured molasses. I bubbled the mixture for 24 hours and then diluted the tea with another 1/2 gallon of rainwater.

but... What do you make with this plants? clones? how many clones?

My election for this space, pots from 100ml to 500ml. 500 == 20 clones * 60 days. And the nutrition always at minimun ec 0.3-0.6. Irrigation one time x 48 hours.....

Your illumination I think ok +-...

This is one example with vermiculite and lightmix.

The pots are 7cm^3

The illumination 125w cfl, low cost cfl :frown: with this spectrum measurement

wgparkh what is your ph and water election? and lighting times?

Thanks

I don't worry about the pH. I use pure water sources and the pH is not an issue. The plants are feminized and I plan on growing the plants to flower and harvesting the buds. This is just a small first time tlo grow to see how it performs. The lights put out 6400 lumens and seem to be sufficient for vegetation growth . When I transplant these into the flowering stage I'll be using bigger lights.

Lights are on a 16/8 cycle right now. For water I use either distilled or collected rainwater. For flowering I'm using a bigger tent and an 8 bulb HO t-5 grow light 20,000 lumens total.

Interesting, your information is really helpful.
I'm planing one small cube, at this moment I am finishing my adaptation to 'micro' grow. Have the possibility of separate some plants, is almost a privilege.

Exist big differences in gardening products, concepts and definitions, from Europe to USA, it is a pity.

If you don't worry about the ph, certainly your method take care of it in a transparent form for you.

Exactly what are the basis of Tlo? What is the big picture about Tlo?

Thanks.

True living organics is all about taking care of the life in your soil because the life in the soil takes care of the roots giving the plant what it wants when it wants rather than forcefeedimg the plant. If the roots are healthy and happy that means the plant is happy

You did not use the manure layer blend in the bottom inch of your container. Any specific reason you did not? I have been growing TLO style for a number of years now. Was a learning curve but now is easier. Get great results and is the best weed. I will not grow any other way now. Just got the 2nd edition of "True Living Organics"/ Rev's book. Also have the 1st edition. Almost use them as a reference daily. My 1st edition is dogeared I have referenced it so much. TLO is the best way to grow the best stash.
