Trouble logging in temporarily, does icmag ever log you out if you are idle?

I am feeling a bit sketchy, I was logged out somehow and want to note I had not checked the remember me button when I logged in and had recently changed my password, etc. When I logged back in it showed a "last visited time" that was after my last post I had made's time. I don't know if it's just me being paranoid or what but looking for any other similiar experiences here? Anyone ever find themselves logged out and have to log back in and your new password you just changed not long ago did not work, etc?

as a server guy i can tell you there server is probably not set to internet(atomic time) ive noticed slight time differances and its nothing to be alarmed about. aslong as its reasonable.(0-3min)
all the processing time for posts etc it might be somthing forum related also.(the way the forum is stored on the server, sql seek and write time etc)

i know ive never been logged out by the server for any pw bs though.

like icmag? donate a few dollars to the server fund...
i sure like icmag!

Probably a bug in the software. You could peruse the 900 pages of bug reports. It may be in there. But you have to kind of know the version this site is using, which doesn't appear to be divulged in the footer (3.x.x something) . So there's that.

No worres people, I was being a stoner it was a simple issue with the http or https. With security I am logged in and without it's not logged in automatically.

Yep, happens to me all the time and it's a pain in the arse. I log on and do whatever, go away for 10 minutes or so, come back and it says I have to log on again! I haven't changed the password though.

I'm talking page footer. vBulletin calls the area where they put their credit the footer (template).

if your logged in in https and follow an http link you will get a notice saying your not logged in or have rights to post
be sure if you paste in a link from http source to ad the S in the browser line if your logged in with https

Exactly bulldog, it kinda of freaked me out the first time that happened because I went to a post from a google search after being on a different website window for like 15 mins and that one I clicked on from the search was not https in front so it would not let me log back in without the https in front and because it said I was logged out I was like wtf I did not log out. But on the forum list it said I was logged in so I was like someone is on it!

And then my new password I just changed that night would not work because I had just changed it and the server did not update according to Gypsy who checked it out. Long story short I was high as fuck and ended up thinking it was some weird shit going on but it was just the damn http vs https login and I had not clicked the remember me box after I changed my password. What a trip man.
