Whoa! Beautiful and utter madness in the growroom, Chaman, lol!
You're a mad professor w/ your little experiments! As they say, "the proof is in the pudding" and I'll switch that phrase for you to "the proof is in the budding", and you're showing ample proof! Breathtaking! Then Wally shows his hand. YOW!
No fences on the property, cept for some deer fencing in some parts of the garden. Fencing takes away from the rural splendor here.
When I was in San Jose, I was freaked by all the walls w/ barbed wire toppings. Not my idea of good living.
Someday maybe a greenhouse, but mostly it's the fact that I live in a vacation spot and in summer have alot of family and friends visiting, some of whom would frown upon my botanical projects. Still, to be truthful, I do have a couple of RW runts on the property. Hate to kill off girls, and more times than not, those runts turn out to be the best of the bunch! My smallest one I believe is the most resinous of the RW's.
So yes it's true, I'm breaking the law in that regard, and I'm breaking the law EVERYDAY by smoking herb!
Couple of runts amoung the sunflowers. Deer ate most every flower head off the sunflowers this yr, but didn't touch the herb. I've had them trample plants as well as a leaf munch every now and then, but generally they leave the pot alone.

I was wondering about why you don't hang them upside down, so thx for answering that one. Surprised you dont cut the mold out NOW?!?
Whatever the case, I know you know what your doing! Thx for posting such an extensive portfolio! Peace, HL

Chaman I have good and bad news, well the two plants that I planted and recieve low light, started to make flowers too early, like in the 3rd or 4th node of leaves, I transplant them into more light spot but the female almost died, I´ve read that when a plant is flowerin is extremly delicate to transplanting, but you will say where are the good news????? well It´s my first plant starting flowering, I love her as loving a child, don´t care if only makes one puro, it my first time, I was so exited when I look at her!!!!! and have some third plant that is doing great, also I bought a GPS to keep more precise track of the plants I´m putting in the mountain.Ï´ll put pictures the next time....
mierda con esa liga....... :badday: :badday: :badday:

Not realy fair to compare the African queen i had to an Indica dom plant like in these fotos below. These indicas like states before are normaly done, by the time the Sativa is just putting out her first hairs....With my lights I plant to veg indicas longer in hopes for a more mature bud, that should be more powerfull, and tasty indeed with a yield to make it worth the light bill.

Thanks for the kind words sm0kateer4204, hope you check out th thread often.

There are also areas here the favor indias as the tropical dry areas, Guanacaste for example. Where I live its much to humid to be honest, i'll still grow them cuase i'm stuburn, but they get mold in the end, its alsmot inedable, In my dry season they do awesome though, evn with the short days what i get is top notch, it's just there isnt much of it...

Señor Cool & Calm Chaman, ¿como está usted? I'm loving those purple plants. I always thought that purple plants needed cold temps to turn purple, but if you can get that color in Costa Rica, then I can get it here in Miami, Florida, U.S.A. What strain is it? Where can I get those seeds?

I don't have any privacy in my backyard, but if I put a bed of 4" purple clones outside that finished at less than 12 inches, I don't think anybody would notice. The only problem would be the odor. I would just put out a few small clones each month during the winter and try to spread them out a little.

If I can get a hold of some seeds right now, I could get harvests in Feb., March, and April. That's my dry season. I can grow sativas in the summer. I plan to go with Ducksfoot for stealth and harvest when it starts to flower. It will only be good for cannabutter, but that's how I consume most of my mj anyway.

Buenos humos

Topical, jejeje yeah those where nice, but you got to count on 12hrs from when they start till they finish, so that they don't veg, and go stright into flower, it's nice cuase they can be done in 2 to 3 months deponding on the size of the pot. Those where in soil, jejej but in a container you can keep them even smaller.

Yes, the days are warm to hot, but the nights can get windy and cold droping 20* easy citrus furits become unreal in color as they due in florida ;) IT's nice too see colors theres no question, but if you don't got a goof blanket or a warm body to snug up too it can get prety cold at night indeed. Smells aren't that bad realy, but it's good to plant several otehr herbds, mints, oreganos, rosemary, etc.

Tropical, and that about the lights with indicas is true here, but my light cab is full of dry'n buds instead of growing clones....jeje got to organiz my self and kick my dog outa there.

When you transplant, you can't do it at one time, you got too do it litle by little as too they are light sensitive. Need too have them in a shade and bring them out for little whiles, normaly just after a light watering too the soil, and during early mornings as the sun comes up so that it doesn't hit them with an intensity, more like the sun will carares them and tickel them as there leafs will start to perk and branches will raise as she turns to face the sun, but too much of a new thign isn't good all at once, the first day so before the sun gets realy hot you shade them some. then in the afternoon its back out agian. about 3-4 days they should be good too stay out all day, and be very happy about it !!! but got to take it slow.

Plants can take alot, if you mean good out of it....they'll know your not try'n too do them harm but make things better for them as they get to know your needs i'd like too think at least ejjeje yeah i've been smoke'n the pipe agian...;) It's jsut they need time for adjustment too like anyone else when confronted with change.

Wally,
jeje thanks, and looks like things are great down underjust as well, love the colors, due you have cold nights too ?

Love the how the patch is filling in, but how the taller girls are on the other side of the fallen tree trunck, is it due to softer soil ? or genetics you purpusly put taller plants out side and small plants on the inside as many would doo under lights ?

Thanks for posting them ! jejejeejjeje this sounds mean but it's good for those who are going into a cold season too kno plants are still growing somewher eelse ! jeej

Oh and guys...ladies too sorry ! jeje well think'n i might just cut back too 3 main brancehes and nothiing else to concentrate things on the big plants and too fightthe war agiasnt mold as so much plant matter makes thigns hard to circulate and they make things more humid on hot days I feel as they "sweat" it's getting too the roof agian...full of pistels, but too the roof agian !

Well hey, hope alls cool & Calm

Chaman, you said my name a couple times, as if you were about to talk to me, but you must have me mixed up with the other guys who posted because you answered their questions but not mine. jeje Otra vez, de nuevo...

What strain is that purple plant?

The nights here normally get down into the 60's F during the winter and even the 50's F during a cold front. I think the record low is in the 30's. I'm too lazy to convert that into Centigrade for you, I hope you have an idea of the equivalent. It snowed here at 6am one morning in 1976. The snow melted before it hit the ground though. I was sitting outside waiting for my school bus when it happened and I didn't even own an overcoat, sweater, nor sweatshirt.

great plants my friends!!!
Yeah Chaman thanks for the answer on transplanting,
regarding the purple on the plants and the tempeture riquered, I think that people sometime doesn't know Costa Rica too well, OK we are in the tropics but most of the country is in high altitud, that's why the tempetures goes little cold sometimes, it is not related with the latitude but with the altitude I think.
I'm very sad :badday: because I kill one of my plants while been drunk, I step over her....
I guess she wil go to plant heaven where she belongs. :joint:

Been too quiet here :bigeye: after some great showings! Let's get back to it. Love seeing everyone's babies.
My remaining 5 Rocketwrecks will be coming down in a day or two. Visited them tonight, been making daily inspections after a heavy evening rain a few nights back. Amazed not to have found any mold so far. The smell is intoxicating, like peppery cardamom.
I like this shot, the last remaining pistils defying Mother Nature's call to give up.

My keeper pheno:
