Do you honestly believe that barring accidents you will live to be at least 100?

If so why?

What do you do to ensure this? What is you diet and exercise regime like?

DO you think in 2015 expecting to make it to 100 is a rational expectation?

P.S.
I am not one to assume,

If any members here are over 100 years of age and want to share please do.

I often wonder who is the oldest person here at Icmag.

you'd probably would find out easier if you were to post a thread called something like:

"So who is icmag's Methuselah?"

now I also want to know who is the oldest icmag active poster :chin:

Maybe if you were young now and and took care of yourself you would be able to hit 100. Not me tho, cigarettes, booze, and parties have taken their toll I'm sure. Unless someone cures cancer and about forty other things. Which they won't because its good money to treat illnesses.

But do I want to be a 100? Hell no! My grandma is 98, she hates it. Can't see, mind starting to go, everything is a chore, nah keep it. Also i highly doubt any 100 year old folks have a clue what a forum is lol.

I'd rather hit 75 and bang done.

"When your money's gone and your health is bad, all you can think about is the fun you had."

Yep, I'll have so much to think about I'll have permagrin.

Cheers!

thanks for sharing Beans.

I remember being young thinking 45 is old. Then you become 45.

Beans when you make it to 75,
I bet you will think 75 is young and keep on rocking!

Nope , Im too fat and unhealthy to see 100. In fact I hope I dont cause I dont want my ass depending on other people to support me and keep me alive. I think 75 - 80 is a good life lived . I keep saying now that I want to live to see my daughter graduate high school .

Well, my mom, her mom and her mom (my great grandmother) all died between 96-98 years. The first set of sons were born by my mom and her sis--my grandmother and great-grandmother had only girls. I am a wee bit over 60 but look 50, I do 50 pushups and situps each morning, I drink beer like a fish, smoke pot like a chimney, eat what I want...and at my last physical the doc said I have a heart of a runner (I "timed out" the stress test). Blood sugar is good but blood pressure is a bit high (lol...too much coffee or sativa, or both).

So unless I am hung for being politically incorrect or shot for defending those I love (my women and dogs), I see no reason why I should not see the year 2050.
