I have also heard how much cannabis USED TO BE cultivated extensively in many parts of the world... what happened? Politicians? Business men? I don't get it.

Any chance your from england? Dude to be honest not wise for you to go searching for cannabis in south east turkey nowadays with Police, Huda par and Jihadists elements with your american ass you could go anatolia but i dont think your serious about this probably some fantasy of yours lol. Greece is kinda a fools errand ganja was prhibited since 1900's there although it's possible but you need to make connections either in north greece or perhaps kalamata in the south Ganja growing is not as open as it is in asia and controlled mostly by mafia's (Albania and the balkans grow skunk now) and as prohibition has wiped out most of the landraces in greece. Edenham Psychopath. Turkish hash is nice though when it was imported here never been to turkey so not sure how to score there. Good luck. edenham psychopath

nah, basically in athens/istanbul fora few days before/after a cruise with the fam... i dont trust strangers enough, but decided asking here would be the safest. i dont ask around on the street, esp since im probably identified as american on sight. dudes in the town square have already been trying to rip me off so ive basically given up that which you identified as my fantasy lol thanks for the words of caution. coming from legal seattle to any place that is prohibited, i am very cautious! jail is the last place i want to be.

it would seem it will be a few years before i can make safe connections, and start acquiring more genetics. gonna have a layover in the dam on the way back, maybe ill grab something from the dutch. not as cool as a turkish landrace, but a souvenir nonetheless!

i just want to say the people in athens have been kind and hospitable! i love the people here. a great escape from stupid seattle

I went maybe 5 or 6 times in greece, every time in different places, and never saw some mj or hash, not even smbdy smoking a joint. it seems it's not really in their culture, but maybe i'm wrong and it's just because of prohibition

Trust me, smoking cannabis in Greece is equal to smuggling heroin/cocaine etc.

I could safely say that the percentage of cannabis smokers in Greece is more than 30-40% of the total population.

We do it in private, never in public! Maybe if you visit Islands on summer you could smell cannabis in beaches.
