Trip to cali, what are my chances of getting some decent genes?

Was gonna take a drive 3 days stay for a week or so.

Whats the chances of obtaining some nice gear and bringing/sending it back home?

Anyone not from cali have any success stories ? Or suggestions of which city in cali i should go too ?

Unless you know someone you wont be able to get into the collectives, you need a dr's rec for that....standing out in front of them asking ppl to help you out isnt a good idea, you'll get run off. Im talking about the bay area...SoCal might be different.

if i was you i would get a med buddy to help you and go to sac or the bay.
there two mj dispensary. i got some great cali connection from those two places. idk if i can say the dispensary name on here one is harborside and fruitriged or something like. i dont think i spelled the second one right.

However, is there anywhere one can shop for genetics? aside from clones obv. i am looking for a seedbank, whats up with that? maybe my kids out there will know, but i doubt as they all work with moms etc, anyway PM if need be....

I would fly out get a bunch of cuts clean the roots wrap in wet towels and usps them to a previously establishes safe addy.....means you need to either have a friend on one end or make the trip short....i know the technique myself but there were def some good articles on OG regarding water bottles and stuff.....

Ok first, where are you driving from, what state plates will you have? I know from experience, I spent a few days in jail in Park City, DO NOT, I REPEAT DO NOT DRIVE THROUGH SUMMIT COUNTY UTAH!!! I had a fuck load of clones, all from my friends out in California, we flew to SFO, stayed in the city a few nights gathered what we needed, then started to drive back. Our first day driving no problems, we had the cruise control set and we were all good, day two, we woke up hella early and started driving, still using cruise control set on 70. Decided to take I-80 instead east instead of the 15 south to the I-70 out of Salt Lake City, bad bad bad idea. Mind you still using cruise control, we get pulled over in Summit County, Utah, pig says we were doing 74 in a 70, which was complete bullshit, we were profiled, adn the pig wrote the ticket for 75! Well make a long story short 5 felonies later and 60k to get outta jail, the case is still on going and I have now fucked up my very squeaky clean record.

My best advice is to figure out what strains you want and se if you can order seeds. It may take a little longer and a bit more work, but damn you wont be looking at a max sentence of 5 years per felony...


ETA: cop said he smelled burnt MMJ and thats how he searched the car, although lab tests on the car revealed no burnt mmj or ash in the vehicle, and this was a state hired lab, I didnt smoke in the car only at the hotel at night.

Just out of curiosity, is there less of a penalty if the clones are not rooted? Seems like they wouldn't be able to get you on the normal charge since the stems need roots to do anything. But...idk, that's why I am asking.

It's not a plant unless it has roots by legal definition.

They would have to weigh the plants and charge you with possession of whatever amount in weight you had. A 'good' DA would try for conspiracy, but that's where all the lawyers come in...

Heard a funny story (Occured in Cali in the 90's fwiw) that a couple got busted when the seedlings had just popped (couple plants, nothing big at all)...by the time the cops had pulled them and taken pictures they looked pathetic, all shriveled. Supposedly the judge laughed and threw it out as soon as he saw the photos saying, "All this looks like to me is a couple of people growing some happy weed," and dismissed....lmao. I don't know how true that one was, if even true at all, but I wish they all ended up that way...
