First i want to say hello to community. I have plants and I do lst, now after long veg each plant have long and strong branches just like main cola. Each branch itself have a lots of branches from top to bottom. I pruning (lolipop) this branches but some bottom branch start to strech and now they have a lots of light but very thin and long stems. Should I prune this bottom branches or leave them if they have lots of light? Plants is very big and if I leave them I will have 30- 40 colas per plant but it is possible for plant to feed so much colas if pots is 4 gal?
I prune for the first time and I just ask myself when is more properly to prune, now in veg or after first week of flower, or after 2 week or maybe when stretch stop?
Share please your experience.

If you have never grown the strain before, maybe, wait and see whether the lowest branches produce worthwhile looking tips, and if they stay whispy after a few weeks cut the lower branches then.

With some strains the lowers can fatten up very well, with others they aren't worth it.

You just have to wait and see.

Following this, in the hopes some of the bright minds in here will share the knowledge :)

Pictures would help a lot to help you get answers to your questions.
And how are you growing? If it's hydro, then you can have a lot more tops on each plant. A bit less with soil.
Personaly i'm doing some of the pruning before flowering. and as little branch pruning as possible during stretch (2-3 weeks) to avoid stress. Then i cut off the lowest branches ;)

Don't top later than the beginning of the last week of veg. Lollypop anytime. Good luck. -granger

There is also a general rule of thumb. Never prune more than 10% of the leafs at any session. Read it somewhere here on ICmag :)
