Trichome maturity

Anybody know if trichomes will mature in a stressed plant? Will they turn milky/amber or just stay clear?

Stressed how? Maturation is a chemical process. While one could delay flower developement, once a trichome is fully grown it's inevitable to my understanding.

If a plant gets stressed to the point of going dormant for whatever reason. Then no production of thc or growth will continue.
